I see that we have several 30 somethings and above as members. Emil is going to set up a spot on the forum to discuss skin cancer. If this helps one person go to the Dr. and get a suspicious spot checked out, I'll be eternally greatful.
Thanks! Very smart--and it's amazing how people still go and fry themselves in the salons. I've had more sunburns in my looong life than I can count, unfortunately, being fair-skinned. I've tried like nuts to make sure my fair-skinned son uses sunscreen, and he usually does, but kids don't take things as seriously as they should. Thanks very much for thinking of everyone!
Those tanning salons cause you the same problems that exposure to natural sunlight does, plus they cost money. Let's see, pay money to get skin cancer, hm-mmmm.
That's a great idea. I was usually pretty careful when tanning, but I've gotten occasional sunburns, too. My shoulders seem to be covered with harmless freckles--and I have at least a couple of blackheads back there that make me wish I could turn my head around like an owl to get a better look at them. You have to wonder about all of these tanning salons,
