Hi ya'll,

Yes, it is a common thing for me. Sometimes I feel like I'm the weirdest junkie on the planet because popping zits is a rush for me like few other things. I happen to be a mother and wife, and my two sons are still teens. All three of the guys in my life have had to tolerate the random moments of "Let me get that one. It's sooo ripe to pop." I've used every trick in the book to get them to agree too. My youngest son home schools and is currently 16. He's come down before,early in a new day and asked something like, "If I let you get this huge zit, do I have to do class after lunch?" Such a conundrum. Me being the good teacher and mother I am, of course, I said no, but it hurt so much to say no. I want that zit at that moment. Ugh!

Once in a rare while, I'll see a personality on television that's perhaps more famous than just the average joe and I see a zit and ugh quietly to myself. Doesn't that famous person have a dermatologist to a) pop that massive growth or b) hide it? It's not like they have to appear on my television or in an add in my newspaper flaunting and taunting the zit popper in me with their just ready to burst pimple.

OMGOSH! I ask all my kids when they come home I ask if any of them have anything I can pop. They say no, of course. lol I love it when hubby has an ingrown hair cuz there is usually puss action there! They are just few and far between. Sometimes I have to look away from strangers if they have something to pop. When I was a para in our local high school, one of the students I dealt with had SO many blackheads! Even in his ears!!! It was so hard to not ask him if I could pop them!!!

I have to agree with you.  It's darn hard not to stare at a giant blackhead in someone's ear, and wish they'd go into suspended animation just long enough for you to pop it out.
