I had my annual skin check up at the dermatologist's today, and had four pre cancerous lesions frozen off. The two on my head I was aware of, because I know what they feel like. I had two on the front of my left calf that I didn't even know were there! I know that we have a number of members that are around my age, so I want to remind you to get your skin checked out. What I had removed were just small bumps that would peel like dry flakey skin, but they would not go away. A month or two later, they would be peeling again. The ones on my head would itch or feel tender to the touch. The two on my leg had no syptoms at all. It pays to get a trained eye to check you over at least once a year, especially if you had bad sun burns as a child.

I'd say yes. They appear to be rather innocent, but they don't go away. People get them on their faces, ears, and the top of their heads, but they can appear on other sun exposed parts of the body as well. They feel like a scab or a flakey crust. If you scratch the flakey part off, it'll come back in a month or so.
Cutaneous horns, besides being ugly, are cells growing out of control, so they need to be removed also.
