I went on a job interview to my first potential job ever, and while I was psyched, I was super nervous. I was having a bad day, because I just had a horrible breakout. I went to the interview at a retail store where my potential boss told me that she brought her daughter along because she was sick and couldn't go to day-care.

I sat down and answered a few questions, when all of a sudden her daughter pipes in and says "What do you have all over your face? That's gross!". I was so embarrassed that I ended the interview early and left. Needless to say, I did not get the job.

Oh, what an awful experience to have on your first job interview.  I'm glad that you can laugh at it in hind sight.

I'm glad you can laugh at it today.  I cringed at the unprofessionalism of your almost-ran boss.  The kid should have been elsewhere for the duration of the interview.

I am definitely glad that I'm no longer embarrassed, and that I was still able to go on another job interview (eventually). It really stinks though, I think I would have loved that job!

Since this ordeal, however, I've never got another comment about acne from a potential employer (or their child)!

I agree with Carlos, that woman was unbelievably unprofessional, and to let her daughter be so rude, too.  I think you would have been unhappy working with her.  Their loss, not yours.  She might have even asked you to baby sit for that kid if you had gotten the job!

You should've schooled her in the art of zit popping right then and there! Freaked her lil nosy #### out during the interview-lol. Maybe a nice white juicy popper would've made her think before she commented on others zits again!!

OMG!  Your very FIRST interview!!  How old was the "little darling" and didn't her mother say anything to her?  I always think about what I SHOULD have said.  Maybe, "These are zits--and I just know you'll have TONS of your own someday! Soon."  Glad to hear you've gotten a job!
