I have suffered from adult acne since the birth of my daughter almost three years ago. But more recently my mild symptoms of what I now realise is rosacea are getting more and more severe.

I am getting rather desperate about it, and almost fear having a shower or bath because that is what triggers is the worst :(

What does your Dr. or dermatologist say about it?  Do any meds. help?

Yeah I would def see a doctor about this one. I think they have laser treatment for that if I'm correct. What exactly is Rosacea?

I was curious about this condition and went to the wikipedia to read up on it.  It's a fairly common condition and I'm sure we've seen it but probably not recognised it for what it is.

I found the reference here.

Very common, it's only in some people that it becomes problematic. For instance my face itches and feels burning hot, and when I have a shower or bath that is slightly too hot my face burns up, bright red, and I just look a mess. It can last six hours or so.

And then there is the nose stuff-your skin can become disfigured. No treatments are proven to help in all cases, though sometimes different things help different people. I have yet to start trying treatments because I guess I was being overly optimistic that it would pass

I have been suffering from rosacea for about 4 years and those nasty broken capilleries. I found the best treatment ever are the lazer treatments. It hurts a little bit it's a lot of money but so worth it!
