   Hi, I am new to the site, I just registered today after finally figuring out how, didn't go as smoothly as I had expected but nevertheless I am very happy to finally be on board : ) I have been a huge fan of the site, and have been visiting religiously every day for quite a while now. I have even watched every single video on the site! : p

   I am happy to have a voice here now, and look forward to getting my 2 cents in now and then ; ) I also of course will be on the lookout for exciting new material for all my fellow pop enthusiasts : )

   I just have one problem at the moment, I posted a reply in one of today's posts "Hand pop" and it is not appearing on the site yet, it's only appearing to me when I am logged in. It says simply "Your comment is awaiting moderation." I assume I am awaiting our commander in chief Emilbus to green light my post to show I am a human and not a robot or something to that effect if I remember correctly from browsing during one of my many visits. If this is the case, then I can promise everyone here I am not a robot, not that I have anything against these humanly challenged cybernetic organisms. Loved the Terminator movies after all. And with that, as soon as Emilbus gives me the green light "I'll be back". Ok, please excuse the cheesiness just typing as I go along here : p So anyways, look forward to being part of this fantastic community whom I feel like I already know from the many fun times I had browsing through this amazing collection of magnificent videos. Looking forward to a popping good time :p

   Even with HS reassuring me in the video comments that you aren't related, you both sure write the same. You even use this sign ~ when you sign your names! Pretty coinkidinky if ya ask me! lol ;)

   Thank you all : ) In case you read this ppm, my video intro style was directly influenced by Halph Staph, as I have always enjoyed her little intros like most of us, during my lurking days and thought it would be cool to try my hand at offering a little insight to the videos I upload, and yes, the squigglu ~ was a blatant ripoff, but only as a compliment to her style of writing : P

   And just in case you didn't read my responses in my uploads, as I understand it H.S. is a woman, I however have certain uhm, how could I put this.. "equipment" that girls don't :p You guessed it, I'm a man, lol ; )

    Oh, why thank you.

    It's no great shakes to find videos, but only a few sensitive artisans go so far as to consider their intros a part of the literary canon... the introduction, after all, is the only thing we have to do with these videos, unless we are such multitaskers as to star in them, film them, and edit them, as well.

    A few members have gone above and beyond in that way. Now, *they* have accomplished something! I still love countrygirl's vid...

    You're very welcome : ) I remember seeing Country Gal's video and her mom, and she says "be still, be still", yep she really went above and beyond for sure. Been nice chatting with ya, I'm gonna go grab some grub, haven't had my supper yet and it's now 8:43 pm here :p Think I may pick up some McD's or something, as I don't feel like cooking and being a bachelor at the moment, that's just fine with me :p Seeya later : )

    Ty Prof : ) But to be honest, I haven't been single all that long and it has been by choice. I felt it was in my best interest to end my most recent relationship with my ex-gf, so at the moment I'm just enjoying being single...while it lasts, lol :p

    Hmm, as far as your other question, I must bite my tongue for I am a gentleman and this is potentially a family site so I must be on my best behavior coz that one's way too easy ; ) But I gotta keep this rated G for general audiences lol ; )

    Give it a rest PPM. Why would Halph use a new and obscure, and no offense, but not to original screen name? I tend to think she's a pretty proud screen name holder, and there are other witty people in the world besides her. Jesus, are we back to the paranoid rantings that Halph is "up to something"? I thought that you got past that. There is no point in digging up old crap. Halph is Halph, the one with the most posts (I think), the one who gives us hilarious intros., and a sweet and wonderful person. No need for her to be devious or try to trick you, I'm 100% positive from my personal conversations with her that she has way more on her mind than bugging you or anyone else on this site. She is who she is...Halph Staph.

    anotherpopfan, you guy, you, you need to come up with some sort of phallic, yet still sensitive, image for an avatar. something very non-halph-staphian but just as literate, literary, and original. something writerly in a masculine sort of way. i suppose some kind of bulging pustulence would work...

    me? i recently switched from a photo of my dear cat to this, an image of a "thermal fart." it felt... right.

    Just wanted to say thank you to all the posters who haven't tried to deny my very existence as if I were some kind of mythical unicorn, it's been a trip to say the least lol. If this is the normal hazing newbies get, I hope I have passed this rather bizarre little tradition : p One thing is for sure, some members seem to have very wild imaginations that rival even the late great George Orwell. I definitely hope my sense of wit hasn't caused Halph Staph too much trouble as it was never my intention. I would like to also apologize for shattering any members long held misconceptions in proving that men can be both literate and intelligent : p

    Don' worry, APF - only the real good ones get the deluxe treatment. So welcome to the Inner Circle (do not ask which level of hell it is, I forgot to count as we were going down...) ;P Yes, I for one believe men can be extremely literate and entertaining, not to mention intelligent which does not always go hand in hand with literate, unfortunately. Prime example of men who embody all three being the great and late Robert Heinlein. His concepts have molded my life, both as a teen and an adult. Damnation - now I have an urge to read one of his novels and they are all in storage! Can we say frustration? *sigh*

    Worry not that you have caused me any grief, I am grateful for your addition to the site as I can enjoy your introductions and viewpoints immensely, since they obviously mesh with mine in some cosmic twist I never expected. But who are we to complain? I am humbled by your compliments, and don't think for one minute you "stole" my supposed signature "~". It is a tilda, folks, just a freakin' key on the QWERTY keyboard. Lots of people use it.

    So please, post post post, dear APF. Who knows? Maybe you are my long lost split apart. One can never tell in this wacky, weird world of ours.

    And, by the way - Tiff, I love you more than words can express.

    Halph, I love you so much, that if for some really weird and freaky co-inky-dink, both of our men bit the big one at the same time, I would gently, but extremely convincingly, have a serious conversation with you about both of us "batting for the other team" (with each other, of course) for the betterment (is that a word?)of all mankind! lol!~tilda~smooches and (((hugs))) ~(tilda, which by the way I use because it is a part of my middle name, it is Lalena, pronounced La-lane-ya, with a tilda over the n, and I just think it's pretty!)~tilda Tif...ooooh I am going to start using that as my screen name when I sign up on new sites. I am just CHOCK full of good ideas today! Except for the fact that I now have just given more info. for the "Inquiring Mind That Wants To Know", and the "Inna" folder. Tee-hee.

    i'm just sayin'!

    as for the drama over identity and style, writerly mannerisms are not quite the equivalent of fingerprints. besides, we go for substance over style at PTZ, yes?

    hmmm. there is one way to establish separate personhood -- but it would involve yet another videocamera, as well as being in the same place at the same time!

    there's probably an easier way. some kind of science experiment involving displacement of water, or sumpthin'.

    as for moi, i will just mind the Ps and Qs... but not the tildes or personas!

    still -- there is clear evidence of gender in writing style. i had to sit through my share of boring lectures on "écriture féminine." Wordy, exuberant, wild with adverbs; redundant; compounded and complicated with self-referential schtuff, and sprinkles of "royal we"! all this in an effort, of course, to escape, ridicule and sublimate masculine structure, stricture.

    and oh-my-god i forgot that i am retired and that theory doesn't count for shit in the real world of runny pus and popping zits... so pop on, as HS often advises!

    Am I gonna have to literally whip it out upon a silver platter to satisfy some of you ladies? :p While it would be absolutely no problem for me, I am first and foremost a gentleman, and truly respect the sanctity of committed relationships. I would hate to inadvertently steal away any fellow man's happiness through the display of uhm "greener pastures".

    Ano, tho' I am 100% certain that you are at the very least NOT Halph Staph, who is a woman, I personally wouldn't mind you whipping it out and placing it on a silver platter, just for shits and giggles. It's just that I've never seen that before. Would you use butter lettuce or some kind of decorative "foliage" to help balance the field? Oh my GAWD my sides hurt! I've had waaay to many good laughs today. Feelin' good.
