    I am scared to post vids myself here,because of the repost police
    and despite your efforts at explaining to me how to change it to another player,i am a technodummy and it is just beyond me,so i kinda hoped someone else could read it,as i know i'm not the only one getting fed up of this,which is why I asked if it is possible to include this as a feature in the page where people can upload vids?
    I love this site and never wanna stop seeing the best puss vids on the web,but while this is happening,it just seems pointless.

    I personally use RealPlayer SP, because it makes downloading so easy. But, I have to learn to convert so I can upload the actual video instead of posting with the URL. As savvy as I am, some things take me a bit o time. Emil - do you have those last few that I posted? Please tell me if you don't so I can get them to you. Thanks!

    And who da heck is 4chan??? Did I miss something? I'm always missing stuff... comes with reclusiveness...

    thanks for sorting those vids of Halphs.It really IS appreciated.
    just take a look at 4chan-it will only take a few mins and you will understand the mentality of what we are dealing with.
    they have already attempted on several occasions to take down Habbo hotel,and have a plan to take down you tube,although they know that realistically,this is just not possible.so the best they can do if mess with peoples uploads.
    Or take a look at encyclopaedia dramatica-it is kind of a dictionary of all things 4chan.
    They have been described as 'hackers on steroids' by the media,but in reality,they are just a bunch of kids who get their kicks by abusing anyone who shows the slightest vulnerability on the web.because they post anonymously,they think they have a free reign.What they don't seem to realise is that nothing you do on the web is 'truly' anonymous.Even in this age of dynamic IPs,anything can be traced if it is warranted.

    Really, this 4chan thing, is it a group or an individual, how could they bring YT down?? I mean short of busting it up for being way to perverted..? Seriously, if that be the case, what about sites like weird S.dot com and all its little cousins? in my opinion, those sites are all the reasons I hate the net. I'll stop right there rather than opening up A gigantic can of worms. I think in all, we are a group of decent group of people, and I like it like that.

    Well, I hope this is the right place to make this comment. I trust youse guys will tell me, if not, he he he.

    In a Google search this morning, I hit on the much-discussed "is that a cyst popping or are you glad to see me?" post -- over at a place called "Current." That's cool.
    But then I saw that "Mattylee" had uploaded it there from... drumroll... HERE, at PTZ.

    Does this happen often, Emil?

    I wonder why some of the YouTube vids get flagged but others don't. I wonder if it has to do with popularity or actual content. I also wonder if Emilbus, with his connections (if indeed he has those), could find out what is going on. He may already know but for reasons that are his, isn't making that known to the masses.
    I just think we should be like liveleak and make the vids our own from the start. This might make more work for Emilbus... I don't know... but it does seem we need some sort of recourse like this.

    kat, that is not outside the realm of possibility, except it's business, not ego. Maybe it's just the over-developed hairs on my suspicion node, but it sure does seem like someone is very quickly organizing (or spamming) a multitude of bogus complaints about YT zit vids that PTZ picks up.

    Now stay with me, Emilbus. What if there is some site that sees itself as a competitor with PTZ for splurching vids, but it doesn't limit itself to zit vids. It is a larger "gross" site, on which zit vids are a "lighter" category among a score or more which are MUCH grosser. Pics/vids of surgeries, fatal accidents, corpses, war and burn victims, even videos of people being beheaded.

    So what if the gross-out site can get a virtual MONOPOLY on zit vids? That would mean that instead of going to PTZ, people MUST GO to Mr. Russian's "Gross-o-rama.com". Which, surprise!, is a subscription site. And the bottom line is, if you want to see the good splurch vids, you'll have to plop down a fistful of Euros. And PTZ.com begins its death by starvation.

    To do it the Russian hires a few hot-shot computer hackers to obtain his gross videos, and to also secure and store them permanently. And then the genius part to undermine his competition for the zit videos. the Russian has his hackers manufacture a spammed "complaint campaign" at YT. I bet YT is so automated that after a certain number of complaints, regardless of truth or accuracy of a complaint, it automatically zaps the vid with a "removed for violation" message. I mean, how else do we explain zit vids being thrown down the YT memory hole within 24 hours of it being posted at PTZ? In fact, being posted at PTZ is probably the death warrant for these vids.

    ***Bottom line:the hackers monitor PTZ daily, and as soon as a good vid goes up, the Russian's hackers copy it to their site, and then release the "complaint bots" on it at YT so that it disappears from PTZ's embed in the next day or so.****

    {EDIT} Oh, MomE, 4chan is just such an uber-gross site as I describe. There are simply no limits except those that would get the company put in jail in Sodom or Gomorrah. Even San Francisco. But I don't think it has a subscription fee. Anyone else know?

    your conspiracy theory sounds more like an ebaumsworld trick,tho that is not subscription fee either
    i think your theory is correct,except that it is not so much about subs fees as simply traffic volume/advertising etc
