hahahahahahha
That is so funny. thanks for posting this. I went to that site and can't stop laughing. I hope you didn't really donate anything.
Wow, what a nice brother! I hope he gets the money.
It is a scam
I agree CystFace. Pretty elaborate one, too.
Gotta admit, it's a wonderful idea to bring in money. We'll see how much he gets.
I think I am going to do this. But i think I'm going to put something like "fix my hormonal imbalances", lol! I think I'd get a better response, esp. from all the other women out there that are "loving" menopause, esp. at 39, well almost 39, dammit. I've only got 15 more days of 38. I'm going to live it up this next year before 40 hits. For some reason that number just haunts me, seems like a "grown up" age, lol!
Actually, not a scam at all.
I'm not sure who posted the link, but thank you for spreading the word! I am responsible for the crazy website mentioned here.
I'm fully aware that the website looks a bit sketchy, and that you only have my word that it is not a scam. I've remained anonymous because my brother doesn't know about the website yet, so I don't actually have permission to tell his story. I don't want to reveal his (or my) identity until I have that permission.
I'm having some fun seeing how long it takes for him to find out about it, but if he still hasn't figured it out in a few weeks when his birthday rolls around, I'll probably tell him then. At that time, I'll take steps to make the website look much more legit.
In the meantime, if you think it would help verify the non-scamitude of this fundraiser, you can talk to me in person at (541) 683-2435.
Butts!

LOL! I am tempted to call and talk to you, simply because this is so bizarre. Were you already a member of PTZ before someone posted this link here? if not, how did you find out that it was on here, and if so, why didn't you respond sooner? I'm not trying to give you the 3rd degree, just wondering, that's all.
I am truly sorry that your brother is having such horrible medical issues. I actually have Chron's disease, and expect at some time in my life, I will need my "butt" fixed too. I wish that I could help out, but my family is just now working it's way out of the hole that the recession dropped us in and left us for dead. Wishing you and your bro' all the best. ~Inna
Hah, no worries. I know not everyone can donate. But if you decide I'm legit and were willing to spread the word a bit, that's just as good.
I just found out about this website this morning. I installed analytics software on fixmybrothersbutt.com yesterday to track the site's popularity, and one of the things it does is tell me what websites people go through to visit mine. I checked it this morning, and this was the only website on the list that I didn't recognize. So I checked it out and signed up! Interesting forum you guys have here.

Interesting is putting it well, "nicely", lol! Bunch of uncalled for friggin' bickering most of the time. Maybe that can change...who knows?
I am beginning to believe that you might be legit. Still, even the $ that we do have is fixing the last year and a half of no money!
Good luck on your quest, and I'll be happy to spread the word where I can! ~Inna
