When I visit this site, I get pop-up, and this pop-up is causing my computer to freeze when I try to X out of it. It is so bad that even the ctrl + alt + delete is not clearing it. I have to manually restart my computer. Is anyone else having this problem? I updated my Norton product, and it seems to be reacting to this. I even did a chat session with Norton to find out if there are bugs in their product. They insist everything is fine on their end, and cleared some files on my computer. Yet, this problem still persists. Please forgive me if I am not too coherent yet, I haven't had my coffee. ;)

I get that too.
It's HUGE; it on a separate tab, full screen.
Definantly a bug, and it comes in everytime I'm on PTZ.
Admin: can ya do something about this, pls?

my pop up blocker is registering 1 pop up blocked on this site...maybe get yourself a decent pop up blocker???

I don't think this pop-up is a bug. Emilbus answered this when Inna posed the question in the Shout Box. He said he needed to pay for his servers. A website isn't free. He has to finance it some how and I suppose this is the way he does it with all the advertising. If it is freezing your computer, it might be that your computer is older and doesn't have the RAM memory it needs for the newer stuff on the web. I'm sorry but I think this is the case. Maybe Emil will see this and answer it.

Thanks Kat. My computer does say one pop-up blocked, but as soon as I click a link, this window pops up anyway. Pimplepoppinmama, my computer is newer, and I wanted to clear up that I wasn't criticizing Emilbus. ;)I get that it takes money to run a website. Thanks for your help guys.

Yeah its part of a new ad system. Only supposed to pop up 1 time every twelve hours.
If you have google toolbar that should knock it out. THere might be some conflict. I bet your using internet explorer?
If so do yourself a favor and install http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ie.html
IE sux! lol

As a matter of fact, I DO use IE. Thanks for the link, and no worries about the issues. It's not like you're sitting over there pushing a button to deliberately make people's lives miserable, lol. We use Firefox here at work and I use it at home. I've found just a handful of things that won't work on Firefox and I have to use IE. Firefox cuts down your threat of big virus problems. I haven't tried Chrome. Satisfied with Firefox!

I hate to say it but I actually ended up watching a few of the videos on the pop ups. One was on how to fold a napkin into a heart shape. And if they are showing a video of a recipe I like the looks of I sometimes watch to see if it would be easy to make. Then I can make a wonderful meal to eat while I watch all these vids!

Hey I think I will pay more attention to the popups from now on. One that comes up has penguins on it but I am not quite sure what it is advertising. I'd like the one about folding napkins!
