   For a couple of years, I had a tiny cyst the size of a pin head behind my ear, which I would occasionally squeeze and drain. Of course, I never got the core out, so it kept coming back. Finally, a couple of months ago, I decided to just let it grow, hoping it would get bigger so I could make an incision, squeeze it out and remove the now larger cyst wall. Currently, it's about 4 times it's usual size.

   I was just wondering if this was advisable or not. Should I let it keep growing or just get it over with and lance it? Like many of you, I'm a complete weirdo when it comes to this stuff, and the thought of cultivating a big ear cyst (I had HUGE one [uncultivated] in my other lobe when I was a teenager - my all-time favorite pop) is fascinating to me - not to mention the fun I have twisting it between my thumb and index finger.

   Is there any danger in putting this off and letting it get bigger? Should I do it at home (preferable) or go see a doctor?

   Hellow BlueBoy first of all; Welcome to our society of Pus,Sebum,Cysts,Pimple,and larve lovers. To be clear to you, I am not a Medic or Doctor or whatsoever so the most wise thing for you to do is not in my aknoweledge. The most satisfying is a complete different story........ I suggest you grow the Cyst and prepare the Popping in a most professional way. Try to find someone who does the Camwork, and find a squeezer,and be shure that they know what they are doing. Maybe its a wise thing to get your Team together and watch some good ear cyst Vids. Some GOOD ear cyst-pop Vids. Also make shure that the Members of your team are not ,,Histerical,, when it comes to this verry serious Job of popping your ear cyst, they must stay Cool &Calm. Then when the Bigg Day arives make sure that there are GLOVES,a tweezer and a SHARP scalpel ,VERRY Important tools for the squeezer!! Be sure that the room has good light for the Camwork...rehearse and do a lil ,,Dry Practice,, before. The Cam set up is verry important. And so is your personal hygiene,beware of INFECTIONS!! About the cut to make ...that depends a lil how big it is,if the pus is real liquid,fluid,or semi-solid with chunks and so on. Dont cut to wide or bigg at first, you can always make the incission a bit larger later on,... if necessary. Maybe to take out the just emptied sack you need a little wider cut. Make sure you have good tweezers to grasp the sack, when pulling out.If the contents of your Cyst are chunks and hard pus, collect the sebum somewhere on a tisseu or towel or something like that,....Might be a good picture to make with sack and all you took out !!! When you and your Team is ready squeezing ,the sack is out..the Jobs done,then CLEAN UP your ear and area around!! BEWARE OF INFECTION !!!!!!!!!
   And ofcourse the most important thing when the Jobs done......Upload the Vid to PTZ !! and not first to You-Tube !!! It might be gone in a few hours and we must mis your wonderfull ear-cyst popping vid. !!! Now BleuBoy I wish you all the luck in the world, making this vid. I hope I didnt forget something....Im sure another PTZ member will give some additional advice ,if thats the case.

   Oh, trust me, though I'm new to this site, I'm far from new to the popping culture, and I have experience with both numerous cysts and large zits on myself as well as on others. As I said, the other earlobe cyst was the most fantastic pop, but I also had a sebaceous cyst on my pelvic region that was about 2/3 the size of a golf ball. That pop was also very satisfying, and looked a lot like the "Boom Goes the Cyst" knee cyst video on here and YouTube. Basically, the "money shot" was a large, greenis-yellow, snakelike explosion followed by many gooey oozings. I liked the smaller ear one better, however, because it was a long, single-squeeze masterpiece that left chunky puss all over the side of my face as well as on the mirror - a tribute to my face pimple-popping experience.

   I just wanted to know if there was any medical danger in letting it grow like this. In every other case of a large cyst that I've had, I discovered them when they were already large, and popped them immediately. This one is in the lobe and completely self-contained, and I don't see any chance of it getting out of control and invading some other part of my head, but obviously, I'm not a doctor.

   But thanks for the production advice. LOL. I'm not sure I know anyone who would want to participate, though. Few people understand how we are and why we like this stuff, so it might be a crew of one. Even so, I'm more than capable of recording the moment for posterity. LOL.

   OMGOSH blueboy! Just like TC said!
   You definitely need to get someone who knows what they are doing to help you FILM all of this stuff going on in or on your body! I am salivating just thinking about the things you have described here! Please consider one of us here on PTZ to be on your team! I'm sure some of us here would volunteer! Me included. =) All that pus and good stuff should not go to waste! Emilbus and PTZ can make you a phenomenom or better yet a STAR!

   blueboy... the only danger I can see is in the size of the sore or scab after, and the chance of scarring...
   I am going to be that little voice on your shoulder...

   LOL. I don't feel like I'm getting "sound advice." Tell you what. I live in Falls Church, VA, so if any of you tough guys want to see the goods up close, you can. I have no car, so you'll have to motivate yourselves. Gifts of weed will help. LOLOLOLOL!!!!!!

   BlueBoy.....I DO have a fast Car....Gifts of weed are easy for me to give...plenty of it...the only problem here is...I'm from Europe, the Netherlands....If youre willing to pay my travel-expenses........I am your Man !!! The smokes are all for Free !!

   Blue boy, I am a nurse, I cannot legally give you any med. advice! Doesn't that suck?! I can however, tell you all you are hearing is correct. Remember, aseptic technique! clean skin to begin with (you cannot sterilize skin!) sterile inst. Have a plan of action, stick to it, and have trusted, knowledgeable people. If something doesn't feel right STOP! Cyster spoke the truth, start small. Sounds like you have opened an area or two. You're own hands are probably pretty good. Don't gouge poke or stab. gently pick or easy strokes to open as few skin layers as possible. Nothing bleeds to the point firm direct pressure won't stop it. DUH! right?? You'll be fine.I suggest 2x2 gauze to dab and not cotton. Remember, these are things I would do, if in you're shoes, no advice. You should obtain that from a MD. Sincerely, Mothereruption.
