would like to know is there anyone else close to the Tampa bay area? My town is Bradenton, county Manatee I'm about 10 miles from awesome white sand beaches. The only claim to fame we have is Tropicana orange juice. If anyone is close maybe we can go to the beach and discuss tackling some of the hard bodies for their zits! God knows they are real greasy!!

Currently in Denton, Texas...but was compelled to reply when I saw the name of this thread.
Lived in FLA for 21 years, moved there in 1955: Ft. Lauderdale, then Valrico (outside Brandon, which is east of Tampa). Used to go to Bradenton beach all the time. Loved Coquina - small...but nice sand! At least, back then. Graduated USF summer 1977, then Texas ever since.
Florida is full of zitpuppies, oh yeah - the heat, the suntan lotion...eeeaaaaauuuuuuuuu
So, won't be able to see you at the beach but have fun and watch out for the sun - just getting over skin cancer which I attribute to Florida sun.
