Hey just wanted to let everyone know that I did receive my surgery date. My surgery will be on Oct 12th. Now on Sept 28th I have to go do the pre-op testing. So I got a month to get everything in order. Right now i'm working on getting the medical exception so I can keep my apt on campus and tomorrow I will start on the wills.
So please be praying that everything goes well for me.

Rachel....I will keep you in my thoughts. You will come through this with flying colors. The medical field does such phenomenal work now a days. I wish you all the best. Do you have family or friends that will go to the hospital with you? I am so proud of you to have the strength to go through with this. Please keep us posted.
Yes my mom, sisters and an aunt plus possibly my cousin will be there when I go in for surgery. The rest of my family will visit me afterwards. Thanks for the love and support datentime I appreciate it!
Rachel, I know your surgery will go well. Just be sure and follow the doctors instructions to the T. I have taken care of several of these surgeries post-op and they do so well. They would come back and see us after about 4 months then 8 months and then after 12 months. WOW! they didn't even look like the same people.
Make sure you take a good multivitaminor you will become extremely malnurished. Good luck and my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Good luck, Rac87l. I'm sure you will do well. Every time I see my sister, I'm so happy that she decided to go through with the surgery. She is alive and with us and that is all that matters! She's also happier. God bless and keep you safe.
