We have had some good videos this week, but I have to admit that my ultimate faves are the vids that were posted when I first began frequenting the site. How could anyone forget "Vince's Volcano" (I think the popper may have strained something with all the pressure being applied), and "Huge Zit on Shoulder" (steak knife to the shoulder). How about the very first "Eureka" zit (does anyone know how she is doing now?)?
Anyone else care to list some oldies but goodies?

miss priss, I know exactly what you mean. There were several vids from 2007-08 which still are at the top of all-time zit clips. So many newer ones just don't measure up. To me the "Bombs Away From the Spider-bite Jaw" that zit-lover mentions, the "Eureka!" stomach push out, the "Endless Mexican Back Toothpaste" and "Charlie Manson's Mashed Potatoes" have never been close to being equaled. And none of those is newer than 2008.
zitlover, that groundbreaking clip of the spider-bite jaw probably makes more zit-lovers' own jaws drop open in sheer amazement than any other similar clip. The original is just over 8 minutes long if I recall, although there are many shorter edited versions. The original 8-minute clip is hard to find these days, but watching anything except the original is unthinkable.
It is a masterpiece. It seems impossible for that much semi-solid rotten stuff that is pulled, is pushed or plops out of that swollen jaw. And there was still a whole lot more left when the original clip ended. There have been many, many chopped up and edited versions of the original, where other folks claim it is them, or that it's cancer, etc. But these are stolen, and they are almost always much shorter than the original.
How about "pus pop shooter" This seemingly small s. cyst simply gave and gave. I thought the technique was excellent for the consistency of the grease. The owner grabbed the bottom portion of the nodule and kneaded, or milked upward.and away from his body. (fine chest) The give jumped and squirted as well, so that was fun..
Then Mr. Zed's cysts and the NASTY popper he employed. What a loser. He gave us the idea he was actually eating the grease that accumulated on his filthy,motoroil laden fingers after the squeeze. If I recall he was getting disgusted looks from the,owner as well. It's beyond me why the fellow used him again. Surely couldn't have been image!!
jumbob, if you ever find it, please post a link to the 8 minute version of spider-bite-jaw. all i've ever seen is the 5 minute one. you're right, that is a classic... and i kinda hope it is never repeated (i actually *worried* about that guy - a lot! in fact, on the website i first saw it, there was an incredibly long and good discussion about health care based on this guy's video.).

Sorry, MomE -- I cannot remember where that all took place. It was at least 3 [?] years ago. Wasn't here. Wasn't YouTube. Was, I do remember, a fairly conservative place and the argument took the tone of conservative/responsible/insured versus wacko/goofy/uninsured -- which is far from realistic. It's actually a great source for discussion. I remember someone on the con/res/ins side was belittling the guy as being someone who "clearly does not take care of himself," etc. All that had to be said? "Did you check out his body? Hmm?" Because he clearly took care of himself!
Most everyone thought the infection merited a trip to the ED - but that raised the spector of costs and the virtues/perils of DIY home care. Thank God no one chirped "but it's free!" or they would have to be killed, obviously.
There are so many stories floating around about what really happened to this guy, before and after... I would love to know the truth. As in:
How long before the staph infection set in?! Was he put on oral antibiotics or i.v. infusions?!
[It's sad, but I recently ended a friendship because I just couldn't stomach her sense of entitlement -- it extended from her rent being subsidized to her health care being "free," because "the ER has to treat you..."]
If I ever run across the archives for that loooong thread about health care, guided by the spider/guy/pusface, I will be sure and let you know.

I would like to see a longer version if they posted it but I'm sure you could write alohadarci on YouTube to find out where it might be! I do love this vid and so do other people.... there are a lot of people who have posted this video as their own! lol never could figure out why someone would do that!
