Surgical Cyst Removal Description:
A surgical removal of a back cyst. Even while the doctor is doing the normal open of the wound and pliers to pull the cyst away from the skin and muscle walls, it's already pushing itself out to a pretty little cauliflower growth. I thought it was good camera work and one that hasn't been shown here yet. If it's a duplicate, my apologies. I think I've watched every video you have up though, so happy viewing.

| Posted By pimplepoppinmama on May 03, 2008I disagree on the camera work... sorry zitzstress, but they keep cutting away during the removal and we don't even get the satisfaction of seeing it actually pulled all the way out. Also, the surgeon's hand is in the way for a lot of the removal, something I always hate! I do have this as a favorite on my YouTube account but not for the camera work... for the size of the cyst and the fact that it breaks open during removal. |
| Posted By cybersharque on May 03, 2008Standard of Care I was taught that when an intradermal cyst breaks during removal, it's better to irrigate aggressively and close by secondary intention (i.e., don't suture it, pack it and let it heal from the inside out). The patient's skin does not not look like it was preppred with betadine, either. It all adds up to a high probability of post-op infection. |
| Posted By flyking138 on May 04, 2008lindsay lohan's grandfather.... i agree with you both. camera work could have been better and it is very strange that it was sutured instead of healing from inside out, and absolutely nothing was cleaned either....they didn't even use water! foreign hospitals/clinics are not always up to standard regulations. hell, there probably are no standard regulations. |
