I'd get a new Dr. if I were you. Has he been to a dermatologist? I'm guessing it's your son. I'm sorry that he has to keep going through this. According to things that I've read, if the sac is removed, the cyst will disappear.

They probably don't have insurance. The doctor doesn't want to help them so he gets a bigger bonus at the end of the year.

I had one of these removed from my scalp, and a plastic surgeon did it. (I'm sorry, it was before I knew I should have taped it for you all) It was an awesome pearl-like thing. If you do have insurance, mine paid for it, since it was cancer prevention. Good Luck to you.

washing the scalp with an open wound like that isnt usually the best idea. ya know, water, soap, dirt from the rest of the hair, a friend of ours had staph on his head years ago and wasnt allowed by his doc to wash his hair till it cleared up, it took so long all his hair turned into a huge dreadlock. he had to shave his head. wasnt anything gross to see about his head though dammit. such a let down
