  It does still exist in laboratories. The CDC is recommending vaccinations for military personnel in the event of 'terrorists' getting ahold of stored smallpox stores that exist in other countries. When the world had the opportunity to obliterate the disease, they chose not to.

  The second comment is right. How do I know? It's my arm in the video. Right before we went to the Middle East they gave us the vaccine in the event of a biological attack from terrorists.   I'd heard something about lab small pox, but didn't think anything of it. speaking of vaccinations, my gramma has a scar the size of a half dollar from an old crappy polish vaccine she got when she was a kid. Must've been some amazing pus there....
