This is a friend's home video of lancing a large, deep sebaceous cyst full of pus and liquified flesh (yummy). The doctors wheren't sure whether it was a spider bite or an infection of sorts. Instead of paying to get it lanced their grandmother with prior medical experience did it at home. His brother, mother, and friend (filming) are in the background. The leg is already infected. The towel is there simply to stop the pus from spreading too far on the skin and possibly starting up new infection as a result; gloves are to stop pus getting on hands of nurse and spreading infection. As a veterinarian, working with cat/dog abcesses, you don't bother trying to preserve the sterility of the wound during the expression process. Only after you have flushed and packed it does it become an issue.
