Photographic catalog showing the progression of a woman’s MRSA infection from December 5, 2011 thru January 9, 2012. Despite being admitted to the hospital fairly quickly, the aggressive antibiotic IV treatments were not working, and she underwent surgery on December 7th.

This guy must have thought it was just a blister but it turned out to be MRSA! Notice the weird pus instead of usual blister juice…

I had some sort of weird blister thing appear on my finger, I don’t know what caused it. But this is me popping it. Kind of disgusting.
Update: Turns out I have MRSA. Yuck!

“My buddy popped a zit near his collarbone, which quickly got infected and turned into a nasty abscess that got infected. Now, while it’s healing, he’s got a huge hole that he has to squeeze puss/blood out of every day! This is a video of the ordeal, and a reminder to always get infections checked out. Enjoy the brutality and make sure to stay tuned until the end for a masterful close up. The End!”

PTZ is long overdue to create the definitive guide to “Popping Everything!”, with step by step instructional videos. Except it would be difficult to find the right actors. He he he – I can see the ad in the trade papers now…
