EUREKA!!! I was so pumped to see this one! This is what YouTube had to say about it. There isn't much to say, besides...WOW. She already had it lanced and drained once by the doctor and this was the second time (3 days later). She was going to change the bandage and *bloop*..it popped once again. I'm wondering if there will be a round #3. Just to clarify, this was NOT caused by unsanitary conditions or lack of cleanliness...but rather the body's response to drugs she is taking for Thyroid cancer (hard to explain, but this is what it basically boils down to...in lay-man's terms). Draining Abscess [copypasta'd from youtube] UPDATE: For all of you self-proclaimed 'diagnosticians' out there telling me what the infection in MY leg is or is not, please take your comments elsewhere. My doctor examined my leg, determined it was MRSA and that's that. I didn't just find the newest trend in bacterium and decide to call this infection that. I was told by my doctor that it was in fact, MRSA, if you can diagnose it otherwise by watching a fucking 1minute youtube video, you need to be out there saving lives not wasting your time posting idiotic comments on youtube videos. Thanks! boil + abscess attained from MRSA ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mrsa ) on my right hip/upper thigh area. very painful, very gross. ---------------------------------------- ----------------- updates! wow i can't believe so many people have viewed this so quickly. i thought i'd throw in an update.. the abscess is 98% gone and the pain is 100% gone, i now have a nice hole in my leg where it excavated and what not. my doc has me in clindamycin and vicodin for pain, the anti-biotics worked really quickly. here's a couple high res pics of the damage. http://la.gg/v/owleg.jpg http://la.gg/v/owleg2.jpg thanks for checkin my vid! Gnarly Knee Infection! ugh!! Hey, so the simplified story goes: We were white water rafting in Northern Thailand and I banged my knee on a rock (through the boat) and then continued the day because I had no pain; but 4 days later I started to have alot of pain and inflammation. I went to the hospital and was mis-diagnosed (Bursitis) and the condition worsened, so I went to another hospital and was told about the bad infection....they started surgery (hence the gauge out of my knee). Before this surgery there was no mark on my knee...just swelling and redness. After that, we continued travels but the beast was still infected and sore. When we got to Bangkok, I went to yet another hospital where they began a more extensive surgery (hence the crater on my knee) to remove the puss and bad tissue; and finally a few weeks later I am almost good to go!
