Hullo Everyone!

Just a quick FYI – yes, the Mrs. PTP Healthwatch is getting moved from Featured, but it will always be here on the site. So don’t stop showing your love and support, and when there is important news to share, you will see this post at the top of the “New Videos” column, or in Featured again.

It is simply astounding how so many members came together to support some truly fantastic people in their time of need. It makes me proud to call PTZ home, and that all of you are part of my PTZ family.

~ H.S.
**********************************

Greetings!

Please scroll to the bottom for a new update from Pick_That_Puppy on the status of Mrs. PTP after her fall and subsequent hip replacement. He has kindly added a link to pictures for those interested. But what I do know, is that these wonderful people still need all the comfort and support that everyone here at PTZ has been kind enough to provide. All our best wishes and prayers, its a rough road, but you’ve made it this far, and you will continue to forge ahead!!

~ H.S.

**************************
Hello Fellow Popologists and all PTZ’ers;

I will make this brief, as Pick-That-Puppy will be adding his own update with much more information later on. But, alas, I could not help sharing the information I just got, so we can all send an extra special prayer her way.

From what PTP has said, Mrs. PTP has had a serious fall, breaking her hip, leading to a hip-replacement surgery. To top it off, it happened to the same side where her leg had all those blisters. But I know that she has an amazingly strong and supportive family, and this hurdle she too, will overcome. Thank goodness the medical practice of hip replacement has come a long, long way – “The Bionic Woman”, a show some of us grew up with, isn’t so far from reality!

PTP will be also putting up links to some of the x-rays, and progress photos, for anyone interested. But until then, keep those positive vibrations and white light going their way!

Thanks everybody! Keep an eye out for further updates as they are received.
~ H.S.
***YAY! A NEW UPDATE!: July 17, 2011: My! What a Big Liver You Have!! and Scab Eating Cats?!? Read On, Fellow Popologists! UPDATE***

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
**UPDATE: June 18, 2011: She’s going home!!!! Scroll to bottom FMI!!! Woo-hoo! Way to go Mrs. PTP!!! UPDATE**
Dear Popologists and All PTZ’ers:
I know that so many of us are saying prayers and sending positive energy for the health, well-being and fortitude of Mrs. Pick_That_Puppy and family. PTP himself let me know that he posted an update on her current status (you can find it at the bottom of the comments) , and I thought it would be easiest if we moved his post to Featured for awhile, so we can have a kind of “Mrs. PTP Watch”. So, let’s rally up and let them know how much we care about our fellow Poppers!
When you get a chance, Pick_That_Puppy, we’d love to hear how she is fairing.
*****             *****          *****          *****
Mrs.Pick_That_Puppy just had a living donor liver transplant from our great nephew Saint Daniel on 5/23/11.
After the operation, her leg swelled up and a ton of blisters popped up. Some with blood, some with water, some with other goo.
Do you think Mrs. PTP would let me pop any of them for your viewing pleasure?
NO!
So, all you get to look at is this picture.
I had acid applied to my foot to get rid of warts. It works by hardening the top layers of skin while forming a blister undernearth, with the hope of encasing the root of the wart. My blister popped--with a little help--and here's the result.
