Zit Popping Goodness!

Posted by ZitMeister on November 30th, 2007

Ok so last night as I lay down to bed I feel this little lump on my chin. So i figure Ill throw my wife a bone and let her have at it. She does her best, but to no avail. Gets a little out of it then i turn off the light and go to bed.

To my suprise I wake up this morning to a very raw, sensitive bump from last night. I know this puppy is ready to burst. You know what I’m talking about? That bump with the pressure building up, that you know is gonna spill some nice pus out of it.

I tried to video tape it with my cell phone but it didn’t come out right. Anyways, after the cell phone videoing I really didn’t get a good hold on it so off to the mirror. I grabbed hold of this sucker and splatttt this nice pus worm encased in blood and watery pus came out on the tip of my finger. Was beautiful. I always had acne as a kid and I get a few now as an adult, but these action packed beauts don’t come around too often. Just wish I had taped it to throw up on the site. Now i have this nice lump, so maybe ill wait for it to fill up again. Doubt I will get the same effect.

Until next time. Thanks for listening!!

Good Morning Acne

Posted by Kill Acne on November 27th, 2007

I woke up this morning and was shocked – no – appalled, to find a brand new zit staring back at me in the mirror. How did this runaway acne find my face in the first place? I swear I didn’t see that pimple last night before bed, but here it is first thing in the morning, glaring back at me in the angriest shade of red that I think I’ve ever seen. Has this happened to you? As insignificant as a pimple truly is, when they happen, it’s easy to blow them out of proportion.

Like most people, I had no idea what to do about even the mildest case of acne. I’m a clean person, I swear! I wash my face every single day, but still there it is, an ugly new zit on my clean face, front and center and glaring at me in my otherwise flawless reflection. I felt like perhaps someone stole my identity and ordered a disgusting and obnoxious zit from a catalog and now I was dealing with the results. I could not believe this was happening to me.

The biggest question on my mind was this: Squeeze, or don’t squeeze? The experts on the subject say to leave it alone, not to touch it or squeeze it or poke at it at all. But have these experts really dealt with this? How can I go around all day with this ugly thing all over my face?

What I didn’t know at the time was that changes in diet, stress and hormone levels could all be attributed to the onset of acne just as easily as an unclean face. Changing your diet, changing your stress level and keeping your face clear using special products designated for acne and other skin problems may all do the trick, but finding a happy medium between all of these fixes is usually the best way to see results.

Sadly, I couldn’t wait for creams or face cleaners or for my stress level to go down. My new zit friend was more than I could deal with and I ended up popping the sucker, even though it really is not recommended! Now I can pretend I cut myself shaving, taking pride in the little battle wound that I’ve acquired and hoping that nobody at the office will figure out the truth.

My Acne Secret

Posted by Acne Treatment on November 26th, 2007

This is a secret I learned about acne while dealing with it in high school. You will never believe what I am about to tell you, so you might want to take a seat. Are you ready for this one? It’s big! – Okay, here it goes. I can’t hold it in any longer.

You can be completely in control of your acne. You are responsible for causing it, and with the right effort, you can also make it go away just as easily and with only a small amount of fuss.

Whew, I’m glad that’s over. It took me a while to admit it to myself, and it may take time for you to accept it for yourself. But it’s true, I promise. You really are in complete control of your acne.

When I first got acne, I was devastated. It didn’t just pop up a little, a pimple here or there over the span of a few weeks. Acne hit me like the perfect storm, taking over my face and neck and even my back in one fell swoop. I was disgusted, depressed and overwhelmingly afraid about what my friends would think when they saw what puberty decided to do to me. Now I understood why adults do not spend much time recalling their high school years. These were going to be some terrible years!

Luckily, I had the resolve to try every product, every method, and every tip or trick for acne removal or elimination that I could find, hear about or afford to buy. And although it took a good long while to develop the right treatment for myself, I am proud to say that today I am completely acne free, and my skin looks amazing.

Here is what you need to know about acne: Everyone has different skin, different oils and different chemical composition. Because of this, every treatment will have a completely different effect, and the only way to eliminate acne completely is to work at finding the right treatment for your own self. What I tried, which was a combination of a gentle face wash, a sturdy moisturizer and 2.5% benzoyl peroxide, may do the trick for you or it may not. The main thing to remember is that you have to stick to it until you find an answer that eliminates the acne for you. I used a gentle face wash to prepare my skin for the peroxide, removing any surface oils in my skin to better open up my pores so that the benzoyl peroxide could get in. Then I applied the Benzoyl peroxide, which oxygenated my skin, drying it and reducing the amount of peeling so that my pores would not clog as well. Using this in large amounts was incredible effective for me. Finally I used a good, sturdy moisturizer to offset the drying and flakiness that was created by the large amounts of benzoyl peroxide. This helped to balance my skin, and I swear my skin looked better than ever, even after only a few treatments!

My Acne Tips

Acne Tip Story

When you have acne, no matter how old or young you are, it’s really shocking. At first, you may even be in denial about it, like I was. And then you go through this phase where you’re just angry, and nothing you try seems to make the pimples go away. Then you go through a period of desperation, as you begin to wonder what your friends will think. What members of the opposite gender will think? The entire process is really scary and nerve wracking, and it takes forever to find something that works to make the acne go away unless you come across a good recommendation or a coveted skin product. When I first developed acne, I was in my teens. I struggled with it until I was twenty-eight years old, and I thought I was seriously never going to get rid of the little buggers. My pimples were angry and red with white caps on top. They looked terrible and I really hated my appearance for a long time.

The regimen that I finally devised for my acne treatment was pretty straight forward, and I found that it jived with a lot of the acne tips that I was coming across on the Internet as well. I had purchased a slew of different acne products over the years, and many were harsh on my skin. The first time that I found a product that was helping, it was 2.5% benzoyl peroxide solution. It was the first product that seemed to be doing the trick without being too harsh on my skin. The next product that I tried was a Euceryn moisturizer, which significantly calmed down the amount of oil that was on my face, which seemed to significantly slow down the development of new pimples.

The first and most important thing that I learned is that Euceryn will seal up your pores a bit, and the best way to let the 2.5% benzoyl peroxide solution take effect is to let it soak in and do its work first, before you put the other products on your face. When it comes to eliminating acne, there really is a specific way that products should be applied that will allow them to have the best effect. With the right system, I was able to completely eliminate my acne problem, and my skin is the clearest I have ever seen it!
