That was surprising, it didn’t look that big. Cool. Ever notice that when people are squeezing dog cysts they stop when it’s empty and don’t keep on trying for more but when squeezing one on a person or themselves they squeeze past empty to blood and so forth. I appreciate knowing when to stop when it involves animals.

Sophie is soooooo one of us………………….
im not being nasty but do most people not know that animals have a higher pain threshold than humans? i and my family have had hundreds of animals of all kinds (cats,dogs,birds you name it) and my dad did for 40 years before me and he always taught me that if an animal is in intense pain it will yowl or go into shock, thats how you would know! im a great believer in loving animals, you shouldnt have them if you dont, but they aint as soft as us humans guys!
I have also had dogs and cats my whole life. If Sophie is prone to these and the family knows how to take care of them, it’s better for her to do it at home. It would most like cause Sophie great stress and anxiety to go to the vet and injecting lidocaine would be more painful than just squeezing the cyst without it.
I completely agree with you guys. If you have had enough pets you can tell when they are really in need of a vet visit. I actually give my cats and dogs their annual immunizations. I buy the serum at the local feed store here in the country. The only shot I cannot give is Rabies because they need to register that and give you a certificate. And you save a lot of money that way. Just please know what you are doing before you attempth any of this at home. Good job!!
And one more thing after reading the note below, all my animals live to be ripe old ages. My cat was 18 years old when she passed. All my dogs live well over 10-12 years depending on the breed.

Looks as if the first cyst is still visible and the filming took place on the same day….you can see the fellow wipinf the first cyst early in the vid. I believe they got out the sac and weren’t quite sure if they should keep squeezing. Great find, Aud.
Does anyone know if this is the first cyst refilled or an entirely new cyst? This was almost as good as the first one but still a keeper. Thanks!

How ironic – they get freaked out by the pus but not touching the cyst skin? I’d be grossed out touching doggie skin not the pus. My puppies watched this – I think they went off into the other room and checked each other out for cysts. The doggie collar did it.
Sophie was in an E collar, why??? Why dont’ they just take her to the Vet and have the cyst removed so that Sophie isn’t the only form of entertanment in that house!

Nice to see animals that go along with the procedure. I’m a little sad she’s in one of those collars. After the cyst is squeezed, she’s going to need to lick it for several hours to clean out the infection. That collar makes it impossible. ):

she was a great little dog. when i get my head light out to check our dogs skin he goes off running cause he now knows what it means. i have to get my other half to hold him down while i check him now lol
aww… sweet Sophie is a toy poodle just like my boys. In fact, one of my boys is exactly the same color and body size.
