***WARNING: Animal pus. Strange, weird dog cyst exuding thick rope of pus. Be aware, if you are sensitive or delicate of nature when it comes to animals, you don’t have to watch. Press play by choice, and comment with respect. Thanks! END WARNING***
Oh yes, I said it. Pooping. It looks like this Golden Retriever has a big, monster poo being squeezed out of a cyst like growth. No kidding. This is poo pus. *and by “poo” pus I mean in reference to consistency and manner in it exudes from the opening – no offense intended to sweet, incredibly calm and tolerant dog or the owner.
I have *never* seen pus come out like this – well, there is the classic pus being squeezed out of a woman’s infected belly hole. But that was yellow, and a cross between the toothpaste and the french-fry pus types. Plus, it could have been never ending because as far as we knew (since videos often end way too soon, lol) she was a absolute pus factory! But, this? This is poo pus.
Dogs do tend to have chunky pus, and even hard pieces that look like solidified pus or cartilage. This is poo pus.
House of Weird. Poo pus. Press play. If you dare…
Just Pop It!

(P.S. Woman says on YT description: “I attempted to remove a cyst from my golden retriever. It was about the size of a large grape. The video freeze twice for a second or two, i dont know why, sorry for that.“… a large grape???? Grapefruit, maybe! lol)

PTZ got a note from the creators of the 1st installment, “Kruse’s Eye!”… the cyst hath returned! It goes like this: “Thanks for posting our vid, we uploaded a second video for you viewing pleasure! It’s entitled “Kruse’s Eye 2″ on youtube. This time the *&%$ really hits the fan, literally!” Isn’t it nice when [...]

Oh GADS!!!!!!! It looked like the pus in the beginning had bits of hair intertwined in the ‘pus roll’
Thats what I noticed too….first thought it was in my imagination, but it seems to be I am not the only one….
Poor girl with a chunky cyst! Hope they got it all. Nice find HS!
poor little baby, I hope it does not come back. people wait because they can’t afford the vet bill, and this is what happens. if you do prevention….. you save money and the pet some pain
That was a great find.
That was some nasty looking stuff. I liked it.
Excellent. That was some old, discolored stuff. I have a feeling that cyst will fill up again.
That DID look exactly like “cyst pooping” at first!! That dog had to be sedated because there’s NO WAY my pooches would lie still for squeezing like that, GREAT find, H.S.!! With this one and the much debated “hair cyst” from yesterday(?), and with it being so early in the year, I’m thinkin’ MAYBE there is a first, “BEST STRANGE AND/OR WIERD VIDEO” a’ brewin’ for the end of this year??
If it was on the nape the dog would never feel it
You call that dog a “retriever” ??
Maybe you should have it stop “retrieving” that stuff………
A nomination for the second PTZ awards!!
Am I the only one who watched that while I was silently screaming “GLOVES GLOVES GLOVES!” ? I love animals, especially my own, and I love pus, but please use necessary safety precautions. Mommapop hopes this pup is now healed. Thanks for the post HS!
WoW,Its amazing,we are getting 4 stars vids everyday since…a while.
And…I can live with that
@Halph Staph ,you’re amazing.Tnx
lol @plush – more to come, too!!!!
Glad everyone is having a good time. Heck, that’s why we come here, right?!?
~ H.S.
what a good pup-dog for sitting so good for this. good icky stuff
I just get amazed at the calm some of these animals have….Great find!
That was some thick stuff. You could pave a sidewalk with that. Loved the payload. I agree with @mammapop. I woulda slipped on a glove or two before the procedure. Another one for the “bazaar” section in my trophy room. Thanks Halph!!
that did look like poo squeezing out i was trying not to laugh watching it cuz it did look like dunk a dunk coming out of it lol the animal was so calm some animals are calm and some animals i notice animal scream great find Halph Staph smooches hugs and audie bear loves
Nice,,,,,are we in a Communist state on this site? I posted a comment earlier to day on this vid and it has mysteriousy disappeared. Some admin folks with ultra-thin skin? The comment used no vulgarity, was not insulting to dog, poppers or poster…..what gives?
I think the mods here were hall monitors in middle school…
lol no but i always wanted one of those badges.
Even in middle school, I was to busy to do something like that – come to think of it, I don’t think we even had hall monitors other than the teachers lurking in their doorways as we all ran around being screaming me-me’s! he he he

@lms – thanks for understanding it was a misunderstanding. And thanks for the heads up. Appreciated greatly!

Awe man!!! We missed the money shot!!! But a classic toothpaste cyst!!!
Great find H.S.!!!
Very nice find
well popped excellent vid should be 4 stars
poor puppy
I wonder what part of its body it was on, looked like the side of the neck. I bet the pus stunk like poo too lol…but ya gloves would have been smart, or taking it to a vet for that matter, and yes I know it’s expensive, but what if it was cancer or something that could have been made worse, I know I wouldn’t forgive myself if I hurt my pup even accidentily. Still, great find
omg that was some seriously nasty cheese.
Excellent, excellent excellent!!!
Great find Halph! Thanks for posting!
I saw another dog cyst video and they explained how their sweat, hair & dirt get in the gland & it looks like that – except that video I had seen elsewhere had cut a bigger hole.
If you ever remember it, let us know!! Hmmm – the only one that I can think of offhand might be that british show where the dog had the dermoid cysts on its head??? Maybe??
Anyone?? lol
~ H.S.
awesome that was nice
I may make myself wildly unpopular here, but please don’t pass judgement on other people and their home care of their animals. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, but many vets (in fact every vet I’ve ever used) has directed me to do some home care. And this was small and large animal vets, and this was long before I became a (human) nurse.
As far as gloves, it’s up to the person. A lot of germs don’t cross contaminate people/certain types of animals, but yes, it’s gross and the smell often doesn’t come out (and conversely, I’ve double gloved and treated wounds that still made my hands smell).
Sometimes people don’t have gloves. I’m allergic to latex to the point of needing an epipen and if that’s all that a friend has and they ask me to help their animal, and it’s a ‘hey while you’re here, can you check this abscess?’, screw gloves.
Also – analgesia – injecting lidocaine can hurt more than nicking an area with a scalpel. In the ER, we would routinely offer the patient the choice when they only needed a quick incision. I’ve been given the choice – I’ll take a sharp scalpel over repeat injections any day… put, that’s me…
that’s it for now…
I meant but that’s me…
Not to mention what a vet bill can cost. I had to pay $1000 to have a $250 screw put in my cat and that was 15 years ago. When that cat started needing sub q fluids I had my daughter do it at home.
that sub q kitty IV fluids is great – I used to make big show biz dollars pet sitting sick kitties when I was younger! And the kitties would have gotten that ‘Imamadkitty’ fever from having to travel to the vet, counteracting most of the tanking up anyway…
Vetting at home by a calm and capable human is soooo much better for our furry family members! And yes, the money saved helps so much, especially now.
Well said ReaGT. Well said.
~ H.S.
You’re not unpopular with me ReaGt.
My parents are both Vets and they are both into putting the animals before the $$$, so they often send the owners home with a bag full of goodies to do some follow-up home treatments, wound care etc I guess you know you can buy latex free gloves? Also agree with you on the analgesia. I would rather a small nick with a sharp blade than a heap of shots of a local any day!
I’m all for home care on your animals as long as the animal is treated with compassion and you know what you are doing! I do a lot of home care. I have 4 dogs and 1 cat. That can get very costly if i have to run them to the vet for every little thing. My vet is all for doing things at home and has shown me how to do things. He is also in the business for the animals and not for the $$, that is one of the reason I go to him.
I’m with you ReaGt
Poor pooch! Hope he gets better!! Nice find HS!
Poor baby… but awesome vid!
can’t even begin to imagine the smell of that thing… delicious!
In my opinion I feel it was insulting to the lady who posted this vid first on YouTube to have someone of admin. importance re-label the vid categorizing the cyst as dog poop. We as commentors have been warned about sensitivity and respect. We need to all follow the example. When “Tucker’s Cyst” was ready to be viewed and the emesis from his cyst was dark, dirty brown and explosive, no one in admin. labeled it as POOP. I wonder if the lady who posted the above vid for many to see will feel as if we have treated her kindly. Any thoughts? Last time I posted this (Wed. afternoon) it was taken down asap.
it isn’t poop as in feces, fecal matter, BM, etc., so no it shouldn’t be labeled as such for risk of being censured. Sometimes infection with common GI bacteria such as e coli and/or proximity to the anus and GI conduit (ie fistula), as we have all likely experienced, gives a distinct poopy smell.
(Not to be too technical but emesis is used incorrectly – emesis is medicine/vet medicine refers to vomit / vomitus, not what is emitted… because of the second e not the i, it’s a different word root… I guess it’s more ‘what is expressed’ like expressing milk…
gah, sorry, homebound currently and PTZ is an intellectual outlet!!! I need some med students to pimp…. and torture…
I think they just meant it “looked like a turd” coming out.
Bring it on, ReaGT! I need all the education I can get!!!
nurses are teachers
lol take a chill pill
It looked like poop jeesh… are u still going on about this lol
If anyone remembers “Mega Pus Squeeze Tumor” parts 1 through 4, this looks **EXACTLY** like the kind of stuff his mother squeezed out of the huge golf-ball sized tumor that this guy had on his right side!
Its just amazing what comes out of us mammals, isn’t it?
Although, it didn’t seem to be infected, just full o’ nasty.
Halph, i was cruising thru the animal vids the other day and found a vid you might like since you liked this one and said you have never seen anything like it. i thot this looked kinda like it.
http://www.popthatzit.com/2011/01/huge-feline-sebaceous-cyst-expression/
hope you enjoy it like i enjoyed this one. tks
Wow! I have never seen anything like this before. It sure was different. Any way HS that you could or have the time to contact the poster and ask if that was hair or ? mixed with the pus? I would be very interested to know!
Super find HS, than you!!
Hairs = Fibrin…
NOT in this context – fibrin is the blood proteins that form the structure of blood clots… (think steel girders)
fibrous tissue? an aggregate that is connective tissue which is usually the ‘chunks’ that come out of large abscesses in large cavities such as in the pelvis and abdomen that may be loculated (sectioned)…
A Dermoid is different. A dermoid stems from totipotent cells (often germ cells) that can form any tissue including hair and teeth and even brain…
feels good to be back! My gosh what a wonderful piece of spaghetti that dog had. simply perfect.
What a fine dog to behave so well. I’m impressed. I can look at my little Marco with the idea of checking some little spot or place, and he goes ballistic! Animals are amazing. I love cats, but dogs rule!
crack shot…awesome post Halphy!
I’d like to know where the cyst was located. It almost looked like one of my cats’ hocked up hair balls!!
This was a great video, I would have liked to see them not wipe and to see how long that cyst would have grown out of there. It looked like a big fat worm or something. I bet that puppy feels so much better now though.
That was interesting stuff. At first it reminded me of a video of an extra old blackhead we had posted a long while ago.
Wow, that was some thick pus! This is going on my list of favs…
Yeah, my dog had a cyst several years ago that looked like this when popped (It was NOWHERE near this size, though!)
