My brother had one for years like that–finally had it removed by a doctor.
I wonder if he’s a hiker. I’ve know hikers that have huge packs for long journeys. When they first start out their packs leave bruises on their hips in the same place. Maybe his just made an abscess?

If not caused by friction ….um… Of any king, could be glandular as itis symmetrical. But infected friction wound is my guess.

I would like a closer hands on approach to diagnose… and it looks pretty chronic too, something that should be tested for MRSA. I would not want to share a washing machine with him, well, never mind.
The smoking doesn’t help the situation with healing and immunity and such. And pull those pants back up and keep the germs there, cause they’re nice and happy!

I’m going to guess he’s allergic to the rivets in his jeans. I know he wasn’t wearing jeans when he posted the vid, but that would be the area where the rivets make contact on his skin.

Are boils contagious? Not only do you have to worry about treating these skin infections, you run the risk of spreading the misery to others…

maybe giving up smoking will help as ive been told in the past that will stop the infections. i agree he needs antiboitics but there was a lot more pus in both of them as well

Looks like the beginning of staph infections, but he’s had them too long. I agree with the theories that something is rubbing on his skin, causing irritation. Yes, guessing won’t cure then, get to an M.D.
