Tumor Removed from Skull

**WARNING: Lots and lots of blood, and lots and lots of finger poking into incision. Just so you know. END WARNING**

Boy, I thought they might be hunting for the Lost City of Gold, or maybe the Holy Grail!!! Sheesh!!! Nice find, butterfly, thanks for sharing it! And for those interested, the tumor was found to be non-cancerous.

From the YT Poster, LLNAMROD:
“I went in to surgery yesterday thinking I would be getting a cyst removed. Well, later on during the 1 1/2 hour surgery the Doctor discovered that it was not a Cyst, it was in fact a Tumor attached to my skull.

I had it recorded because I wanted to watch it later on for my own entertainment. Back when I thought it was just a Cyst.

I have other video footage, but I thought this was the best part.

Well, enjoy.”

  1. is it just me, or did the doctor kind of seem like he had no idea what he was doing?

I was surprised to see a tumor removal in a docs office. I guess once he started, he was committed. That must have been scary. Fascinating video, butterfly. Thanks.

    1. I agree Larry. I was thinking that he needed an extra hand suctioning the blood instead of using gauze.
      Good find butterfly!!!

  3. Let’s poke the tumor and break it open so it can flow all through the bloodstream. Yeah, that’s a good idea.

  4. I was glad butterfly picked this one up. I’d seen bits of it on YT, but couldn’t get it to play there. I believe (as noted by others above) that this doc was not prepared for this at all…too bad he didn’t know more about the possibilities before he started. I sure hope he got it all, and that the patient has no reccourence! Thank you, Butterfly!

  5. OMG, the doctor seemed like he had no idea what he was doing… “Tiny bumpy things” should never come out of a doctors mouth!

  6. I am thinking about uploading the first part of the video. Its from the very start of the surgery. And in this video it is a replacement nurse, the original nurse passed out during the operation. I didn’t originaly upload it because I thought it would be embarrassing. Well, if you guys want me to…

If you want me to upload it, just let me know – on YouTube

I am not sure if I will get email upadate from this site. :)

    1. Logan – I will send you a PM too, but yes, an “Extended Version” would be lots of fun! Let’s see what we can do about getting that posted!

that’s one dedicated doc considering the hackin bloodbath – most docs would have sent you to a surgeon for a hospital procedure. looked like total chaos – glad it was taken care of. hope it doesn’t return and thanks 4 sharing your experience :)

I would have told them to STOP and let me up!! MALPRACTICE!

  9. Thanks to Logan/Butterfly for this entry into my personal version of the inept Doctor of the year contest. This dude had to sit there listening to him trying to guess his way through. Argh…
