These things are rarely ‘spider bites’ but rather community-acquired MRSA infections. Anytime you see a video labeled ‘spider bite’ showing a cellulitis or subcutaneous abscess, 9 times out of 10 it is just an MRSA or generic staph infection.
Nice amount of pus.
@ DocAsHimself I often wonder that. It’s a shame it’s true. I get the feeling MRSA is often swept under the rug to prevent panic.

Wow, what an annoying baby! How old was she? I could understand if she was 11 and under, but her crying and whining when it’s been under a general anesthetic is wimpy. And, isn’t it kind of common sense when you’re her age (I’m guessing she’s at least 16 because of her big breasts and her fat belly) that the only way you get rid of an abscess or spider bite is by ‘lancing it’. What the hell did she think they were gonna do? Kiss it better? I don’t know about you guys, but the bite isn’t the only thing that’s a big pus in this vid. What people need to understand is even if the area fully numb, you are still gonna feel movement, temperature (the cold saline solution) and pressure, just not pain. That’s how the drug type works. It’s either she gets it it done this way, or she goes septic and gets massive scarring around the area due to necrotic tissue. Otherwise good amount of slimy, congealed pus. Nice find!

I understand and appreciate the need to have an income from this site. But I have to say that these video commercials are getting out of hand. One I can deal with but to make me watch more than that is just annoying as all hell.

I really don’t think it’s necessary to make nasty comments about the girl in this video. She is a scared teenager.
Sheesh- what’s up with the insults? That girl was so not fat and who the heck knows her story- she may have a phobia with doctors or needles or blood. Or maybe she just felt really sick to her stomach and needed some good moaning. I say we be nice to our video stars or we may get a bad rep.

I absolutely agree with Popmaven. Insulting a young woman (who may very well have never been to a doctor in her lifetime) is very rude. In some very rural areas, children see the doctor for their shots, if they are lucky, and don’t go back until it’s an absolute necessity. I can probably safely say that everyone who made a rude comment about that poor child probably lives in or around a major city. Expand your minds people. Not everyone is like you. Enjoy the pus and leave the nasty comments at home.
