She must have a very small pain tolerance..

I been through lot worst than that..

Why didn’t they numb that poor child before they did that to her? Her foot was purple and swollen so I know it hurt, and younger ones, teens and younger, have lower pain thresholds for pain. They shouldn’t have tortured her like that.

      @porelovely

He did it to be a son-of a-zit! He was probably mad at her for not having insurance or being on medicaid or something. When I became disable and lost my insurance the way they treated me at the hospital was very shocking. I wasn’t prepared for it at all. I lost my doctor and had to find one that took medicaid. Very low rated doctors. Incompetent failures of med school are the the only doctors that take medicaid. I cannot believe the difference in my life now.

@porelovely I agree, this poor kid shouldn’t have had to endure that, especially when lidocaine is so close at hand. Barbaric!

@porelovely @ pops I also agree. I can understand why kids cry. The lidocaine would also last for awhile afterword. Then she gets to see herself on the tube because she has no say over the post. BUT on mute it is a great post! Then I can pretend she is not a kid..so thanks Twisted for the great find!

WTF??? Foot sores and things hurt worse than most anything because of all the nerves!! Why did they not numb her to oblivion? There is absolutely NO reason to have continued like that. “Don’t move” my ass!! If that were my child, that doc would have been getting surgery performed on him without ANY kind of numb-em-up juice. Maybe then he would have some compassion.

Nice work TC! Nice pus too! I’ve kinda been in that fathers position with an older child of 16 or 17. You wanna deck the doc, but the kid also has to grow up also.

You have to remember that lidocaine can’t work if it can’t be absorbed by the tissue it’s injected into. Trying to numb the calloused ball of a foot is extremely difficult, especially when it’s already infected. I’m sure the doc did his best.

WOW, she has a hamster foot.

Couldn’t finish that one. Poor thing. No entertainment value in hearing a kid trying not to scream.

I try not to judge people on their pain tolerance because I’ve had boils, glass splinters, etc that I barely felt, no matter how long or hard I had to work on them. I’ve also had small injuries that hit a nerve just right to cause unbelievably excruciating, white hot pain–Things you can’t even bring yourself to touch. So, I give them the benefit of the doubt on pain.

    Hamster foot-L.O.-freaking-L.

That poor baby, i was ready to cry just listening to her sob uncontrollably. i too agree more should have been done to keep her pain under control. i hope this healed up and hasnt caused any complications for her.

    Thanks for the upload!

Would’ve been easier to just give her a shot than listen to that wailing. It’s a nice video though, I had something similar.

Snap Crackle may be onto something about numbing being difficult in that area. At least, local numbing. Not sure if something other than lidocaine would be appropriate…if not a local then some sort of general narcotic? I don’t really know about such things but would be curious to hear what others know.

poor thing,i get that bad over the dentist and doctors, they hate me.
the foot is so tender though, i dont blame her.

they dont have to numb the area they are working on, they numb up the entire ankle area then the pain message cant get thru, then they can push & squeeze to their hearts content and she wont feel a thing.
    bad doctor very bad doctor.
    poor little patient.

Yeah, right. “It’s okay baby, Daddy’s here,” while he VIDEOTAPES a doctor causing his child more and more pain. The doctor should have numbed her to block the pain below the ankle, like was already mentioned. I don’t think this was a simple blister if it caused that much pain. I was just appalled when the doctor said, “It’s okay, I’m just squeezing it.” Hey doc, give me your balls and I’ll SHOW you squeeze! For lets say, three or four minutes? …. what? I’m just squeezing it . . .

Even in the vet pet world there would have been less suffering for her; a simple shot of morphine in the upper arm; one small tablet of oxycodone or hydrocodone 10 to 15 min. before the incision…..any of the above would have helped her….I couldn’t watch anymore….

poor girl ouch ouch should have numbed her up and she could have really hurt herself moving around like that the doc was probably like relieved when the procedure was done great find Twisted Cyster smooches hugs and audie bear loves :)
