Brain Stem Epidermoid
So is this like a sebaceous cyst on the brain stem. When my daughter was sick it was the brain stem that was damaged so this is what drew me to this vid. Lots of cheese, but maybe a little long. Great work though as this is a tricky operation!
BTW I did look for this everywhere and am sorry if it is a repost. It was originally dated June 10, 2010 but did not have a lot of hits.

I am a Mod. on A Missing Children web site and believe me that happens to the best of us every once in a while.. Sometimes more than we like but that stuff happens to all of us..

I tried uploading this video a few weeks ago, same problem. Disabled embedding. Lots of chunky stuff and even looks like they’re pulling away a layer of cheese off a pizza. It just doesn’t end. The music I like, as it’s a better alternative to screaming idiots. Best wishes for you and your daughter, Dripper!

I have seen every single video that there is on this site, no kidding…..but I have to say that I found this video to be the most interesting and fascinating one that I have ever watched by far! To have that type of infection in such a vital part of your body, and to see it being removed just blew my mind. It’s probably just me, but I absolutely loved this video….
It’s not just you Sunshine, I don’t watch or post many surgery vids but this one was amazing even after I watched it several times. Whoa that was some infection. I don’t know if it was exactly like my daughters but it was close and only a secondary complication to meningitis.
She did live for 3 years but died of a heart attack when she was 3 1/2. Thank you all for your kind words and I don’t say this for empathy as it has been awhile, but it is amazing what the body will do to keep itself going.
Now I have a guardian angel and I know she is there for me. I do celebrate her life instead of mourning her death now…but it took time. For anyone in the same position I just want to let you know that sometimes the lives of ones we love are out of our hands, and though I stopped believing for awhile, I know now that she is in a better place, truly.
