This is my all-time favorite Dr.J video! It has everything: Massively clogged sinus cavities (!), blood, mucus, and pus of wildly varying colors and consistencies, things being removed from a person’s nose that you wouldn’t think possible, and…the pièce de résistance which is so freaking awesome I won’t spoil it for anyone!

I so need sinus surgery..but zit, thats really close to the brain. And after seeing that…just UGH.
Knottiegirl, I’m sorry to hear you’re in that situation. It sucks. I had three surgeries about 15 years ago. It was no joy ride. I had a lot of bleeding into my throat, but the pain isn’t that bad. You’re probably going to feel like a Zombie for a week afterward.
My surgeries didn’t improve my chronic sinusitis, but I like to imagine that they prevented things from getting much worse–eroding bone, spreading to my brain, and the like. I don’t want to freak you out or sway you against surgery. Everyone’s case is different and perhaps you will benefit greatly from surgery.
I have had other doctors cringe when I mentioned the sinus surgeries, so I’m thinking there may have been a bit more risk involved than my old doctors let on. By now, it may be a safer procedure. I would just advise you to educate yourself and be selective about who performs the surgery…How about a trip to India!?

I love Dr. J This was so frickin awesome. I love the tool that chops everything up and then sucks it away. It really puts things in perspective when the Dr. pulls the gunk out of this persons nose! Just awesome. I like all the crunchy stuff too! Thank you Fuzzy for this really super video.
@popables Thanks! Like I said in the description, this is my favorite Dr. J video of them all. I was saddened when he was purged from YouTube; I mean, *WHY??!* He’s presenting medical information in a clinical, but unflinchingly graphic manner.

@Knottiegirl. BT;DT, and I still damn near shot straight out of the hospital bed when the surgeon took my packing out; this was after I was given a *very* healthy whack of morphine in the ass.
Not to stoke your fears any, but Dr. J was looking at the dura mater (trans. latin “tough mother”). That’s the outermost membrane that encases the brain.
Why was Dr. J purged from YouTube??????? After videos of fine specimens like this one for example, why would they do that???? You can watch some kid watch a video and they film him puking into a trash bag, but they block an ACTUAL physician posting surgery videos??? WTF????
damn that guy has to feel so much better! i too have chronic sinisitis and dont see how the guy could have been breathing comfortably being that stuffed up. he has to be atleast 5lbs lighter after having that massive gunk pulled out of his head.

@whyme *chuckle* This video was tame compared to another of Dr. J’s videos where he has to do something so unspeakably grotesque to a patients face to gain access to what needed to be removed *I* couldn’t watch parts of it!

Dr J, you are a true artist in your field! Your videos are always welcome, and are also extremely instructive. Your medical skill and your penchant for teaching is a great thing for those of us who are constantly learning form you!

LOL, I can just picture the type of claw machine he would be playing, too. “Should I go for the nose fungus in the corner or grab the ear wax in the middle?”
how can someone let their nose get that plugged up? when mine gets the first sign of obstructions i become a fog horn blowing my nose every way possible and if that doesnt pay off then i become a gold miner digging for gold.
i cant stand to have anything interfear with my breathing.

Fuzzybeard2016, thanks for posting another great video from Dr J. It’s so cool that he narrates them and he has a very soothing voice. The only thing I don’t like about them is when he pulls the booger-looking stuff out and it gets all over the patients’ nose & lips. Yuk. Diggin em out is great but it gives me the willies when they are globbing on the face. Eeeeewwww.

OMG look at how much there was!!! Dr J is one of my fav type of vids to watch. not only is the quality excellent, there is always an awesome payload. He also explains everything in easy to understand terms that i find to sometimes be very educational.
By volume – this just beat the previous video watched with the large residual sinus surgery plug removed! How does one get fungus in the nostril? Wait, I don’t want an answer to the question. Live in ignorance.

I worked in the medical field for over 30 years for every kind of doctor from pediatrics, to ENT to family practice…and after watching numerous procedures done by Dr. J, I have to say that he is an excellent physician. And how cool is he to post these procedures for all of us PTZ ers to watch!!
omg i can tell u i had spinal meningitous before and i bet his head felt alot like mine did when i was sick but only difference was is my head and whole body hurt pain level past 100 even morafeen wouldn’t help me excuse my bad spelling ahhh and for some odd reason i really enjoy watching fungus get pulled out of the nose its crazy that grew up in that patient i love dr. j he is an awesome doctor great find Fuzzybeard2016 smooches hugs and audie bear loves
