Uh-Oh! Another Rabbit has BOTFLY!
**WARNING*** EXCEPTIONALLY GROSS!!! **WARNING**
Larvae exits rabbit’s neck all on its own, whilst poor bunny bun-bun is under anesthesia at the vet (THANK GOODNESS!). Believe you me, that is more than enough to gross anyone out. wiggle wiggle squirm…. eww. But – alas, I am still sickly fascinated by these parasites. Oh well, I’m not the only one around here!

Is that truly a botfly? The color and the fact that it is making its way out of there makes me wonder… Weird, but good. What was that other thing SE of that botfly on that lil bunny? Looked like something to pop!
… or another botfly hole, maybe? If the bunny is under anesthesia, why wasn’t anyone around to get that monster out of the rabbit? That’s cruel.
That was sick!!! Watching the thing wriggle out on its own was way grosser than watching someone pop it out.
@ppm yes it is a botfly but a different kind they are warbles and looks to me like there are 2 holes and I cant understand why they just did not pull the damn thing out
eeewwww that was one nasty bot fly. But for some reason I just couldn’t stop watching! I agree why didn’t they pull it out? Maybe they had to wait for it to come out so far to grab it and get it all so it wouldn’t suck back inside the lil bunny.

I have seen one other video with ‘black’ larva, I don’t think it was a botfly, this word is overused, there are plenty of insects who lay eggs and produce larva

i had to see this again, i am thinking before i read the post, it looked like a black weewee moving around between the bunny’s legs.even more disturbing to me.lol so graphic! a favorite because of the mystery

Good video but someone should have shot the fly exiting or being pulled. The creator left it out…
