eh. its okay. i had the same thing happen to me very weird feeling
Yeh this happened to me too. I dont remember what happened to my toe, but like 2 months later I was on spring break. Sitting in the hotel room looking at my toe. I grabbed the toe nail and it just came off. I just about yacked!! Nasty.
Same thing to my hubby too. His previous job (during the housing boom) was the Superintendent of the job site. So those little trailers that you see where new homes being built…that was his office. It takes quite a bit of arranging to get desks, fax mach., comps. stinky guys, etc. to fit in that small space and still make it presentable so that a new homeowner that wants to speak with “the big guy” can still come in w/o falling over dead. So my goofball decided that after a day of walking his job and yelling at people (which was his main purpose) that he needed to remove his shoes, THEN rearrange his desk. That corner of that desk came down on his big toe, and I didn’t hear him stop moaning about it until this very thing happened. His was a bit more, how shall I put this, stringy. It had some tissue left, and it made strings of grossness when he pulled it off. Within a day or two all was well, and I was so glad not to have to hear about that toe anymore. Did you know that ballerina’s (most, some?, the one’s I’ve known)have their toenails removed on purpose? It’s too hard on their feet when they are in those toe shoes, so if you are a foot man, I suggest NOT dating a ballerina, lol!
Oh! It made a slurping noise when it came off too, blick!!!
I also had this happen…to both big toes. It was the result of 2 hours non-stop dancing in parade a few years back…I was the head of a giant pink worm that had 12 other people inside moving it along…like a giant chinese dacing dragon! Meh…I’m rambling…sorry.
