This one has a cat as the patient (so animal lovers beware). The cat is out cold though…it’s all done by a vet.

Poor kitty… but I’m glad it got help. Our dear “Henry” had an abscess like this but on his neck and it occurred way after he had healed from the fight. His neck was swollen more than this but the surgery was the same. The drainage tube came out on side of the neck and traveled up to his shoulder where it ended coming out. I’m thankful for vets who can help! Thanks for a great one iloveit!
Poor baby!
That doctor had a great “crate-side” manner with Kiddo. I would definately recommend him as a vet.
OMGosh! That poor kitty! At least the vet treated him decently. I love that he talked to Kiddo, and even asked his opinions.
Poor kitty! I hope he’ll be ok. I’m a big kitty fan.
I’m mama to 2 beautiful kittens Rambo and She-ra. That big kitty looks like my Rambo without the white on the underside and feet. I’m so glad that such a kind and caring vet took good care of him! Wounds like this are one of the main reasons why my kids are not allowed outside at all!
that’s a good vet. i had to take drains out of my friend’s greyhound after surgery. it’s nasty. i hop kiddo healed nicely with no probs. poor baby.
what a great vet… he won me over, too, by consulting the kitty about his opinion of treatment.
just an aside — i have heard wound specialists get downright bellicose about the overuse of hydrogen peroxide, especially when used full strength. it’s pretty noxious to tissue…
great find.
I love how he talks to the cat……. and I’ve never seen a cat intubated, they usually don’t show that part… cool vid!
What a great vet! I love the way he talks to Kiddo and makes him comfortable. My dearly departed cat Trixie had an abcess on her throat that ruptured before I knew she had it. When she came home from her surgery, she had a drainage tube coming out of the front of her throat. We called her Frankenkitty for a long time.
weird vet…
Great vet. Nice find.
Thanks loveit, great video, I agree with everyone here excellent vet & excellent treatment!
hehe its cute how there are a bunch of animal fans on here, i like it, and i feel bad for kiddo but atleast he got help and it didnt get worse, great vet, wanna find him
that is an awesome vet!
Lets knock you out, gash’n drain you and get Desire and Kim to help you – lol – classic – sounds good to me!!
No Gloves?
Anyone know a vet like this in Austin? He’s great!
This vet was incredible – as many are. Kiddo had informed consent!
Fantastic vid!
