it’s not like his ear lobe isn’t already completely damaged that taking that stupid plug out would make a difference. Take it out, let your zit heal, THEN go ahead and keep stretching your earlobe to ridiculous sizes.
I don’t think I’d have much(if any)sympathy for this kid if his ear got so infected that it had to be removed.

Videos like this piss me off because they make everyone look stupid and the comments kill me, seriously.
When stretching is done CORRECTLY, things like this don’t happen (unless you have an injury of some sort) and the hole WILL go back from a certain point. There is a “no return” size, and this guy is NOWHERE near it.
I had my lobes at 5/8″ for almost 5 years and in about a year, you’d never even know I had ever stretched them. It’s when you skip sizes/stretch too fast that you tear your lobes and build up scar tissue and then in a year your lobe will look like a wrinkly butthole.
I don’t even care about the video because it wasn’t worth watching, but ignorance drives me INSANE. Google, man.
This guy should have taken the plug out, dealt with the infection and then DOWNSIZED and waited 2-3 months until fully healed before stretching back up to the original size, but these jackasses hang out at Hot Topic all day and see the crappy quality plugs they sell and buy them and shove them into their skin and then wonder why they have an infection. Stuff like this is just infuriating.
Ignorance, when it involves putting hula hoops in your earlobes, is a good thing, in my opinion. I don’t feel one bit ashamed that I didn’t know the correct steps to take for stretching one’s ear out to accommodate a basketball at some point.

It’s fine to be ignorant but then don’t state your opinion about it. You don’t know enough to even form a logical opinion, so why express it?
It’s like saying you hate a book you’ve never read or a movie you’ve never seen. Once you’ve read it or seen it, feel free to say negative things about it, but if you have absolutely no knowledge of a subject, then why say bad things about it? It’s unnecessary and even most people are agreeing with you, to those who took the time to learn about something before judging it, you just look like a narrow minded dolt.

I keep thinking about how stupid gaged ears look. A little is fine, but when I can se objects clearly through the holes in your ear it is just plain gross. I was also thinking about how he should clean his house and replaced the ugly ass wall-paper in the bathroom.

The only thing I could think of thru this entire video was: Take that damn thing out of your ear! Use alcohal or peroxide to clean out as much zit as possible! Scrub the damn gauge and soak it in alcohol! and Go see a doctor for some antibiotics and let it heal!
There is no way I could have left that thing in, but then again I would never do that to myself and cant wear much jewerly because I’m allergic to most of the metals used. I know how bad one of them infections hurt but I dont have no sympathy for dumbasses that dont use the common sense that the good lord blessed them with!

No one said ANYTHING about not liking the way it looked. You can say “I wouldn’t want that for myself because I don’t like the way it looks,” that’s perfectly fine, it’s not for everyone, but uneducated assumptions are just insolent and unnecessary.
I speak in a condescending tone because we’re on the INTERNET. Information is literally at our fingertips. People who have knowledge accessible to them and choose not to use it is one thing, but to then pass judgement on things they know nothing about (when it would take all of 5 minutes to read a damn wiki page about it) is ridiculous. If they don’t want to be spoken to like they’re naive, then they shouldn’t spew stupidity from their fingers on a public forum. Maybe I’m a snarky zit, but choosing to be ignorant is like BEGGING for someone to correct you. If you don’t want to be corrected, then educate yourself before speaking on a subject or don’t say anything at all.

It’s one thing to correct the people that were wrong, but you seem awfully defensive over this. I’m just wondering why. I do agree with your philosophy that people should take time to make sure their comments are factual, but I’m just wondering why this particular topic is such a sore spot to you. It’s a fact that ears & noses grow larger as one ages. He might confuse his ear hole & try to button his shirt with it if he hits old age.

Afterr lurking for some time, i finally made an account so i could comment on this.
people who let thier body mods get infected are extreamly stupid. My ears are streched but nothing like his and even letting them heal i still clean them every day and if i do get a sore i put neosporin on it….then again i use neosporin to help strech if i do (only a size 4) but yea….dumbass should lean his ears more often.
