Ok, I’ll be the b*tch here – nice – using a dull scalpel on the poor animal. You could tell he was uncomfortable the way he was squirming. MotherE, I remember the lavender tincture, my uncle still has it on his dairy farm. This is just another example of people treating animals like they have no feeling (I know, I know, they are emptying a cyst – with a DULL scalpel) Personally, I hope they both bend to check the wound and get kicked in the head. That was my evil side typing.

If we knew the ‘larger’ story behind our meat–neatly cut, wrapped up in pristine packages and with a ‘safe’ sell-by date, I have a feeling there’d be MANY more vegetarians (including me)! I’ve known for the longest time that if I had to kill (even be around when the animl was killed) I would gladly give up meat. My dear husband, on the other hand, says he’s a carnivore, and that’s that!
