Omg I’m surprised she made it that long with that in there without it killing her! That must have made eating and drinking extremely painful or impossible. I hope she recovered without any permanent damage to her esophagus.

@ Mother – The ham sandwich death was just a rumor. Mama Cass died of degeneration of the heart muscle fiber caused by the prolonged combined effects of obesity and severe dieting.
