All of this guys surgery vids show him to be a butcher. And his medical knowledge seems a but lacking. For one thing this is not a cyst no cyst wall etc. It is an abscess. Also what kind of doctor works on animals like peacocks on the same nonsterile bed he uses to work on children and men?

At least the patient has good video evidence for his malpractice lawsuit.

Sorry, couldn’t watch the whole thing – the guy looks like he’s in a prison camp. Did you see the looks in the eyes of the “Drs.?” CREEPY.

From the beginning, almost, I was wondering what was going on. If that was a cyst, there was not much solid to it, and if it was an abcess, why did he cut that section of skin out? Yuck!

Dear God! There is so much to say here. I will not soon get over the “Deli-style” loose plastic gloves and the the fluffy loose cotton being jammed all over the gaping crater this knife-happy goon created. This is one more reason why not to seek medical help in Pakistan. I want to cry.

Well, that was something! I guess deli gloves are better than no gloves. In the video with the peacock they turned the lights off at the end and used a flashlight/spotlight, same here. Do they lose power or are the conserving power? makes me wonder.

uh-oh. i am commenting at the 30 second mark, so you know that ain’t good.

i remember these people! this is the doctor who, for lack of a better word, “operated” on that poor bird — and who, throughout the whole procedure, had his stethoscope hanging from his ears as if that made him look like a healthcare professional.

okay, i watched it. all the way through. fred says my eyes were bugging out.

where did i put my antiemetics?

clearly, an abscess. the careful excision of that moon-sliver of skin is just CREEPY AS HELL, especially when, after rescuing it from the spew of ABSCESS PUS, dr. dood holds it up triumphantly as if it were the bloodied body of a cyst.

this would be one of those occasions where a pretense at sterile technique is warranted — since he carves the guy like one would a turkey, (or a peacock). gee, if the anesthetic had been correctly injected, there woulda been almost a bloodless field, too. as it was, thank goodness there were goats corraled nearby, sleeves rolled up, ready to donate blood.

ewwww. i am so creeped out. poking a hole through the skin using a hemostat? um, why? okay, i see what he was thinking — “errr, i need to ANCHOR THE SHIT out of this piece of gauze that i am leaving in as a wick. hey, i know! i’ll poke a hole in the skin using this big effing hemostat, thread it through there, then stitch it all closed so that when he goes to pull it out, it won’t budge and will be glommed by puss and dry blood to the wound! i’m such a jokester!”

the powdered antibiotics applied to the gauze dressing is best mixed with smokers’ spittle — i thought everyone knew that…

i am NOT knocking the culture, NOT making fun at the clearly unavoidable problem of supplies. i am, though, horrified by the lack of cleanliness and clean technique, the dearth of understanding of the task. those things don’t require much of us in terms of materials or even instruction. that’s what’s so scary — the sucking hole where common sense ought to be. okay, i will stop now.

make it go away! someone suggest to YouTube that there is a gross violation in terms of use…

The poster’s reply in youtube comments section defending the procedure :^O

    watch it carefully,
    it is not backyard surgery…
we in this part of world, donot have the ideal things as u ppl r used-to.
this is a minor-surgery procedure done in minor o.t ,as is being done..
    “cyst-explosion”?????????? there is no such a medical-term….
this video is meant to help med.students of our part of world to see the procedure, save it and learn….
not for comments like made just now…

This is a good example of the need for medical tourism. It probably wouldn’t have cost this guy much to get to our good Dr. J….

Ok, there is so much to say about this video, however most of you have already voiced my thoughts, lack of sterile techniques, equipment, proceedures, peacock one day human the next.
If anything this video shows me how absolutely sweet dear lord lucky I am to have been born in this part of the planet!
I mean really this poor soul is in fact lucky to have found access to someone, bird doctor or not who can relieve that abcess for him. His other option is to have to live with the infection and probably die from it.
Sad but I honestly do not think that most of us in the western worl can truly understand how really I mean really lucky we are to have access to basic health care needs.
    Just this cats thoughts… :~

That guy is a butcher. All he had to do was make a small hole and squeeze. Why would he even film that or allow anyone to film it?

See what happened is he caught the guy on the table with his daughter, in bed of course. And, pretending not to care, says “Hey, I see you have a ganglionic, lepto-sporitic, hematomic uber pickel there.” “I can zip that baby off you in no time at all for free, just lay on the table and relax.” Bwahaaaaa….

Oh hell, I just watched it all the way through. I saw a dude in the Army who got hit by artillery shrapnel and the wound looked just like that! And after he butchered that poor guy on the table it looks like he tore the hem off a tee shirt and packed it. My dog’s vet is better than this. Sheeyit.

“Butcher” is right! I would say that I have a pretty strong stomach (I used to pick-up dead bodies for a living) and I couldn’t even watch the whole thing. That man was mutilated and it was NOT necessary.

Wow, this guy is clueless- bad technique, having a clean or sterile field is obviously not somethings this guy worries about. That “drain” he brutally inserted is totally useless, why puncture the guys skin with your mega-hemastats when you could simply leave it hanging out of the suture line. I LOVE MY COUNTRY!!!!!

You know, I said bad bad words before I even pressed play on this, just based on the freeze frame on the screen! I am HORRIFIED at what they did to him! Where did that doctor have his training? The School of Slicing and Dicing??? Bloody hell! Can you imagine how much pain that guy was in for DAYS afterwards? OMG.

What what what???!!! I never leave comments but this is too much. I’m no doctor but I think anyone with a brain and a little knowledge could do it better with a butter knife, whiskey, and towels. Very shocking but it wasn’t so much the lack of equiptment that bothered menn but the lack of thought. Thanks for the interesting post=-D

I can’t believe what I just watched….I am a nurse, and I could have done a better job than this butcher did! I swear, you could take a 15 year old kid, have them watch abcess removing videos on YouTube and PTZ for 2 hours and THEY could do a better job than this clown! Absolutely horrific
