According to Dr. J – this complete fungus garden was growing in the ear canal of a diabetic patient!
i wonder if the patients know they’re going to be featured in such a comedic fashion? i mean: “guess what i’m doing?”
that had to have itched like crazy… wet ear fungus, sprouting spores! i bet the patient feels infinitely better.

That’s funny, I thought the same thing – do his patients know they become stars?? I’m not sure the witch guy would have been thrilled but I imagine getting rid of the hook was worth it. At first I thought this was a spider’s nest, but fungus…..I’ll still watch anything Dr. J does. Did anyone notice the size of the scissors Dr. J went in with first? They looked like a lawn instrument to trim bushs…..wow!
OMG! i just don’t understand how people can leave this stuff to get so bad. i mean if i had an inkling that i had any crud like this in my ear, i’d be cleaning them obcessively and running to the doctor.
it must have itched or tickled, they must have stuck their finger in there to itch it at least. what about the crud that would come out after you itched it with your finger? wouldn’t that just sent most people running BEFORE it got this bad?

That Dr. J–how fantastic can he be? He likes us–he really likes us!
It doesn’t appear that the patient has been digging around in his ear. The powdery mildew substance looks undisturbed. The stolons (aerial hyphae anchoring the fungus), stalks (sporangiophores) and tufts (spore masses/columellae) of that which resembles a puffball, remain peacefully intact. Dr. J knows what we like and plays to the crowd. Many of his patients cannot afford healthcare and therefore come to him in dire condition.
Don’t understand how stuff like this grows in people’s ears. Are they farmers whose soybean seeds land in their ear, or what????
Whoah… I could watch the guy with the maggots under his scalp without even batting an eyelash, but this fungus… grossed me out big time O.o
Mushroom magic. There was a fungus among us. I love his videos, so cathartic and cleansing.
