This reminds me of the bladder stone videos which are from dogs; here is a video of gallbladder stones from a human, and there are a lot of them! If any of you have ever had a gallstone, it is so excrutiatingly painful! It’s unbearable! I can’t imagine how long it took for these to build up and up. Love the nice green bile liquid pus too! Ouch! (Amazing how our bodies create these things! Check out Louis Herring labs website for pictures and pictures of various kidney, gallbladder, etc., stones, in a kaleidescope of colors and comprised of almost all known elements, except iridium?).

anyone else see the resemblence to rabbit turds?
bahahaha Right?!
This reminds me of when I worked in Pathology. After the pathologist did all the analyses on the specimens – the patient wanted them back! I had to go to the bed-side and have a nurse sign a slip “releasing” the stones. Time-after-time, patients would tell me that they were making some sort of jewelry out of the contents of their gallbladder! There are enough in this video to make a mighty fine necklace. My own gallbladder problems had me in the hospital for 2 weeks with high fevers. Come to find out – it was all gangrene. I had to have emergency surgery. The stone causing all the main pain was the size of a walnut. I signed for it in Pathology and got it back. I’m not going to make a pendant out of it – too many bad memories.
That was life and death situation for you. I was being treated for another problem when the doctor’s saw a gall bladder stone the size of a fist. I didn’t have one symptom. Doctor’s couldn’t believe it. Didn’t know you could ask the hospital to release the stones, tonsils, etc… They don’t tell you that you can.
those look like coffee beans? im looking up to see what the gallbladder even does.
I’ve seen them bigger. My grandmother had her gallstones in a mason jar. Clean them up and they just look like rocks.
Those are so cool! I wish they had cut one open….anyone know what texture they’re like? Are they hard like stones, or can u squish one?? Also…what the heck are they made ffrom??
Pinto beans!!
That is some nasty dog chow!!!
hmmm, looks like rich dark columbian coffee beans, hand picked by juan valdez.
wow to have that many is unreal, wonder if the patient ate only an extremely hi-fat diet. they must have been so painful, yuck!
looks like the kalamata olives I got at the market yesterday….and now I won’t be able to eat any of them after watching this
Gallstones are hard, pebble-like deposits that form inside the gallbladder. They may be as small as a grain of sand or as large as a golf ball, depending on how long they have been forming. Some stones form when there is too much cholesterol or bilirubin in the bile. Bile is a liquid that helps the body digest fats. Other stones form if there are not enough bile salts or if the gallbladder fails to empty properly.
whoo hoo baked beans in molasses..mmmmmm!!!lol
She’s got enough to make a necklace.
Nice find elvis
looks like breakfast
Oh my. I had to have mine out a couple years ago cuz i have 30-40 stones in there, one stuck in the duct, and it was infected. I had that crap inside me….no wonder id have horrific pain.
I’m assuming your gallbladder burst before they were able to remove it, which is what caused your infection?
I had to have mine removed too a few years ago. I kept getting pain waves (when the abdominal pain I’d been feeling for almost a year got worse and worse but it would come and go) When I finally went to my doctor (I thought it was stress or muscle spasms) he asked me a really bizzare question: did I have any pain in my right shoulder as well? I did. I thought I just kept pulling the muscle but he told me that gallstones can cause shoulder pain (I can’t remember why though) so sent me to a specialist and to confirm it was gallstones they did an ultra-sound. I had so many gallstones that it had started to swell. It was packed! It got stuck removing it laparoscoplically and they had to cut it open so they could finish pulling it through the incision. I had so many gallstones that they documented it. They gave me one of the pictures to keep, I should post it-it’s pretty cool, but my stones were cream colored, and there was no dark bile (no room with all the stones in there) and they were sooooo many different sizes! It kind of reminds you of white corn (I know, gross)
I was being treated for neck pain and they happened upon the gall stone. KEWL pic it you post it.
The pain WAS excrutiating! Comparable to the pain I had from kidney stones a few years ago. It was so bad they I was literally writhing in pain one night. I don’t know if it was because I was so dehydrated or from the pain but I passed out trying to get down the hallway to my roommates door and when I came to I couldnt crawl or yell loud enough because I couldn’t take a deep breath so I had to throw books at her door until she woke up (it was 3am) and found me. All I could get out was “Call 911″ before passing out again. .
Black beans? No rice?
Yes, the pain is HORRIBLE! I went to the ER and found out i had 30-40 gallstones, one stuck in the duct and it was infected. My Dr passed it off as gas pain. Lets just say i dont go to her anymore.
That was some dufus doctor!! Had she never heard of an untrasound?! Good riddance to her!!
At first glance I thought that was a chicken drumstick……Those stones reminded me of pepper corns, or unground coffee beans, I found this video to be very educational. Because now I know what a gallbladder stones looks like……DwS
