Whats Rawked, Captain? It doesnt sound good!
I believe students will really give an over the top job, Hopefully the clinician was a good instructor. I wonder why he didn’t probe?

They forgot to give him the potato sack with eye holes cut out into it so he can walk the streets with all that tape and crap on his face. People will think he go shot and stabbed in the face.

I had a lower tooth abscess when I was 19 and pregnant (May of 1970). My lower jaw was so swollen I tied a dishtowel around my face to keep the swelling from moving. I didn’t receive that type of treatment. Rather, the dentist, drilled a whole through the center of my lower tooth that was abscessed and pus and blood flew everywhere. Novocain was not advisable since I was so pregnant. However, the pain was so bad it didn’t matter. I wish someone would have lanced and drained the swelling like this video. Eventually, all four lower teeth had root canals and crowns that I still have now. That was a very interesting video. I think the care was excellent and didn’t appear to be as painful as what I had. Thank you for the posting.

Mother E: there was some probing at about 2:07, (the blunt disection segment) it was edited down for time i think, but there was some jabbing about with the hemostats, followed by more drainage.

i have a tooth that needs a root canal, the dentist isn’t doing it til dec. he said it may very well abcess before then, so i should come see him sooner for anti-biotics.

the same thing happend a few years back when i cracked a molar on, get this…ravioli (must have been a piece of grissol in the ground meat)
i squished horrible smelling/tasting goo out at home, before he finally removed the tooth.
the tooth itself has roots that were so long they probably reached my brain. i saved that tooth for cloning myself in the future from the dna inside ;) i have noticed i am smarter these days since losing it. kinda like homer simpson and the crayon incident, LOL!
it was repaired initially, but abcessed after the fact.

i am hoping this doesn’t happen again with this tooth. abcesses are miserable things. i had great teeth all my life, but the last couple years i have had a couple doozies happen. only three cavities all my life including baby teeth. my son at 19 has never had a single cavity, his teeth are perfect.

remember to always brush and floss people!!!

Looked like they used a piece of ripped surgical glove to make the drainage tube.
