This is one of the most incredible pictures, let alone bug pictures, that I have ever seen, and it helps to explain why the botflies hurt so much! I pulled one out of my cat’s cheek once, before I knew what botflies were. You know there’s a God when you see such incredible life design as this. Far out!

I don’t rate too many still shots highly, ’cause I’m spoiled and like videos better….but this one is a scary doooood! 4 stars from me!
I gave up long ago trying to understand why God made things like this. I will just be thankful that these ones don’t live here in N. C. We do, however, have the kind that feed on horses and donkeys. Tropical paradise isn’t always that lovely, dreamy place in glossy magazines. What in the hell am I talking about? I love to watch them on PTZ videos!
