H.R.! Yahoo, great vid.. What did she say?”oh my god, Steve, thats better than….?” Listened several times, could not catch what it was better than! That was a tough young man, probing for those loculations had to hurt like a cousinlover, he didn’t bellow once! believe the medico could have expressed more, but who knows, maybe he had a hot date! Good job all around

This has some great action to it. I find it interesting how excited they are about this and the poor guy has a really really bad infection.

Are the purple lines a result from the infection or are they just “cut here” lines for the MD?

my little brother had something like that on his shin after hitting himself with a ball peen hammer… wonder was this due to blunt force trauma as well?

This is an old one. It’s actually one of the first ones I saw here on my first visit (ah, nostalgia lol) The line is from them marking the area so they can tell if the infection spreads or not. We do it all the time in medicine, especially with cellulitis and insect bites

Mother, I’m pretty sure she said “that’s even better than a pilonidal”(cyst)

That packing’s gonna hurt like a [BLEEP]er[BLEEP]er when they take it out unless they heavily sedate the poor guy first!

/Just had flashback to when the packing was taken out of my nose after surgery when I was 17. Even with a generous helping of IM morphine in my ass, I damn near levitated out of the hospital bed when the doc started pulling…*shudder*

Wow, I had to turn my head away. I am not up for so much hurt and that had to have hurt no matter what. Sedation is the key for the remaining treatments. Yipes that had to hurt. What caused the infection? Injury? Not a typical boil. Thanks for the posting. Good work.

If I did this at home I would suck out all from the hole with a sringe and fill cavity back up with alcohol, let sit a few minutes and then drain that out again and then bandage it up… works for me everytime. i have even used cologne when I didn’t have alcohol
