This is an old one. It’s actually one of the first ones I saw here on my first visit (ah, nostalgia lol) The line is from them marking the area so they can tell if the infection spreads or not. We do it all the time in medicine, especially with cellulitis and insect bites

/Just had flashback to when the packing was taken out of my nose after surgery when I was 17. Even with a generous helping of IM morphine in my ass, I damn near levitated out of the hospital bed when the doc started pulling…*shudder*

Wow, I had to turn my head away. I am not up for so much hurt and that had to have hurt no matter what. Sedation is the key for the remaining treatments. Yipes that had to hurt. What caused the infection? Injury? Not a typical boil. Thanks for the posting. Good work.

Twifty- sounds like a painful technique to me!!!
Squirting in alcohol, or especially cologne into an open raw would hurt BIG-TIME!!!! The alcohol on raw-infected tissue would cause major irritation and a major wound infection. Go to the doctor’s!!!!
