Awesome knee infection? Maybe. Sure was a LOT of pus for a little kid (10? 11?) That parent was irresponsible. That child needed to go to the pediatrician's office. That much of an infection should have been taken care of by a Board-Certified Physician specializing in pediatric Surgery. There was certainly a lot of infectious material that dad didn't get, and that necessitates antibiotics. A lack of parenting was the least of this. The secondary infections relating to MRSA NEED antibiotics, and without proper care and follow up, including surgical evacuation of that large a pus pocket (and it was large) one will almost certainly develop post-status infections, ESPECIALLY in a child of that age and activity level. Please, please, please; a LITTLE more common sense. Oh, and the camera work in this wasn't too bad this time, not even for an amateur!
