The thing I noted was the poor sterile technique of the doc: sleeve of a wool sweater over the gloves, and just inches from the open incision. I wonder how many cases of eczema, scabies, strep, staph, diarrhea, etc. the doc looked at in that same sweater before he decided to wipe it through the cyst incision here.
I know we’ve seen all kinds of incredibly foul “surgeries”, but doctors know better. This one was just lazy. At a minimum pull the sleeves up, soap your hands and arms well, and then pull the gloves all the way up. Exposing a doctor’s bare but just soaped-up arm to the wound space is far better than waving a germ magnet like the sleeve of a wool sweater.
First…I would have shot the camera person…second…That dr. is not very sanitary. Must be sort on guaze…noticed he kept using the same one.
