So strange, I cannot comment on Pete’s oh well, This one is neat. I bet it is done at a podiatrists office. Some of the tools are different, and the technique seems to be specialized. There is a beginning to this where the nail is being painted. Very thick and has a horn appearance. Along with the bluish coloration. suggests poor circulation. It’s a nice id Mr Stuff, I find it to be very informative. Thanks… OOoo, painful!!

If you listen to what the MD is saying at the begining of the video, he kind of sets the tone for all of the giggling, “It was a dark and stormy night at the podiatrists office, the hounds were howling”. I say better to laugh nervously than to cry and scream over this intense surgery! Good God, I watch a lot of ingrown toenail surgeries, and removals on YT, and I have NEVER seen anything like this! WoW! I want to know what all that was on the inside of his toe? Skin? Nail? What was it and why? Wow, what a cool video.

Omg!!! This made me cringe!!!! I was watching this all curled up and my hands all shriveld up… Good god!!!!
What was in the toe? What was it and why? Why does this happen?
I will never be alble to look at my toes again… Omg! I can’t get over it.

And the chick laughing??? Wow, I would have told her to shut it.

The person recording it was just a little too into the work. Oh did this make me squirm. Maybe because it had to do with feet. Ouchie.

wow must have been some great drugs they were giving the patient, laughing gas, morphine??? all seemed to be having a grand old time.

while the camera work was good, the mood happy and fun, this video lacked the stuff i enjoy here.
i prefer the ones with the pus, liquidy goop and stringy, cheeze whizzy goodness.

and like you INNA, i have noticed the repeated posts of late. i believe it has to do with EMILBUS’ appearance on the TYRA show. i think some of the oldie, but goody ones were reposted to attract any new zit-heads to our growing population.

i think that “milk the pus-teat” (the british guy’s 4 parter) and that “eureka” one would have been great reposts for any newcomers, as well as some of the boil/staph and butt zit infections that offered some explosive entertainment for the newbies.

perhaps Emil could set aside a member’s favourites section. we could pick several and vote on them in a sort of “top ten” order if preference.

(maybe this has been done already and i just haven’t noticed it before)

there is something about ingrown toenails that makes me cringe. i have had that experience on a couple of occasions during my waitressing/bar-tending days and they are no fun at all!

I’m with CystFace. I can’t watch it. My son had painful ingrown toes but not like this! He went to a podiatrist and they have been great since. Toe probs are too intense for me for some reason! But good vid I am sure! Thanks for posting!

So this is my vid, and yes, thats my toe. My GF is filming and as you can hear is having the greatest time. Ive had this ingrown toenail that kept growing back, and as it grew back, scar tissue started forming. All this took about 6 months to happen. So I went to this great Podiatrist in Northridge and he took out the nail matrix, cut out the large tissue that formed and hooked me up with some vicodin. He only used local anethetics and i used my Ipod to help with distraction. Music totally helps! Afterwards he stitched me up. I currently have 6 stitches and am still healing. Thanks for watching and leave me comments on my YouTube vid as well. Just look up Frankentoe! Thanks!

Whoever is the girl that’s laughing – she gave me a headache – I could watch what they were doing but her laughing is too much. If that was my friend I’d punch her in the face. What a loon that chick is!

I didn’t have the sound muted when I started watching this & hit that in a hurry. I imagine she was laughing so that she wouldn’t cry. The extra skin she has around the toe is scar tissue from past nail removals – if I remember that correctly.

Looks like someone is gonna be in agony when the marcaine/lido wears off.
It hurts just to watch it. Removing the nail matrix so it won’t grow back again. He might put some phenol in the same area for the same reason.

That really was a Frankentoe. Ouch! The nervous, forced laughter got to me, but I liked watching the procedure. Now I just have to try to get my toes to unclench.

I think the laughing might be a “Thank you Sir. May I have another?” type deal.

Walking is NOT going to be fun for her for a while, you don’t know how much weight you put on that toe until it sticks out like a sore thumb! She won’t be laughing then! I had to have 13 stiches in my hand and I couldn’t use it for months it hurt so bad!

There seems to be alot of comment about the laughter. Many people have a nervous response simply called inappropriate laughter, it’s their way of dealing with stressful situations. It’s not rare. Is kinda creepy though.

Pretty good video, could do without all the stupid cackling from the girl in the background. She sounds brain damaged…… not to mention extremely annoying.
