I think it MIGHT be on here again… NZTubbs made it and a follow up video and both were taken from his account for some reason. We have part two on here as well.

Some things are just worth a second…third…and fourth look.
Sometimes, the worst part of a video is the patience needed to wait and wade thru the minor set up before the good stuff. To me, a compilation video like this takes the good stuff and leaves the muck.
Thanks, even if 90% or so of the vids represented are here on some form or another, that rocks.

MomE you are an RN correct I was hoping that you could explain something to me I noticed that some of the cysts in this video have a more whiteish color like the one at 12 seconds in but others like that one at 30 seconds in appears to be almost grey in color. I was just wondering why that is.
white cysts and off white usually are filled with sebum and may have some pus in them, if they have come in contact with a bacteria or virus. Sebum is simply body oil,or human lard if you will! (yuch!)
I believe it changes colors for 2 reasons, dirt in the pores or on the skin or the amount of melatonin or color pigment that is in the skin. I worked in the county clinic system here in Manatee county Florida for some time. We seen alot of sebaceous cysts on Latino folk. It seemed to have a brownish or gray hue to it. Caucasians that had nice tans usually had off white sebum. The age was also a factor in the color and texture. Cysts that were 2yo or better, the give was waxy in comparison to the mashed potatoes texture of newer ones. If they were drier, they were darker the moist give was usually white. So there are a few factors. I hope that helps.
FYI infection has different colors and even odors. Green to yellow to almost black. It changes depending what bacteria or virus it is. MRSA doesn’t smell like cancer, that is one example. I thought you might appreciate the extra tid bit. Yes I have been a nurse for a long time I have worked many departments and currently sit behind a desk up to 30 hrs./wk. doing paperwork! (boo) I enjoy answering any questions to the best of my ability as long as it is in my scope of practice.
I also forgot to add Vlood, the amt of sebum a body produces can be related to diet, it is reasonable to relate color to diet. This comes from a little research in my A&P books. Thank you for the question, it sparked my interest as well.

Well! Hello then! I’m not saying I’m not glad to know that Qwertyffun. I did however say ooops! right after I hit enter, because of privacy issues, we all slip up from time to time though. Are you native? I am, I hate how it’s grown and grown here. I’ve been back4 yrs. I’m sure with in a year’s time I will go back to Southern Ohio.
