I use hydro prox to boil the wax and then mineral oil to soften it. After a day or so I use a bobby pin to dig the chunks out...yes I know I'm not supposed to do that but I've been doing it for years and years and I have it down to a fine art that works. I dig out some really gross zit and it always feels so much better afterwards! I have my doctor check them afterwards and she said I'm doing a great job! I don't tell her about the bobby pin or she would probably zit a brick! LOL

It depends on your body and what you do all day. I clean my ears after each shower and usually all I get is a little yellow tint on the q-tip. I do office work now but when I used to work in an open garage turning wrenches all day I'd usually get a blob of amber goo.
