I feel bad for the patient, but it was really interesting to be able to see into his sinuses and other facial structures. I'm sure he's on IV antibiotics and they will make a cocktail to address whatever bacteria shows up in the culture that they took. The thing that amazes me as an advanced practice nurse is the combination of new technologies with good old fashioned metal plates and screws. I'm definitely into surgical procedures, so keep on posting! I enjoyed this one.
