HR PUffinstuff was a Saturday morning kids show that was very trippy about an island where everything was alive–rocks, trees, talking flutes–and there was a witch who wanted this talking flute for some ungodly reason.
HR Puffinstuff was the mayor of “living island”. He was a zitty looking dragon with a huge head and tiny, under-worked legs.

HA! i remember h.r. pufnstuff! (i’m an ancient 48 yrs.) jack wild was the main character, the flute was “freddy”. to me the mayor looked like a cross between the hamburger guy from mc d’s and some strange dragon body or gator. jack wild also played a major part in the movie “oliver”
