~ ~ UPDATE ~ ~ Friday, 05-11-2012: Nana is still in the hospital. She has had 5 units of blood and is on 4 different antibiotics. She had gone septic, and the hematoma isn’t going down so she is most likely going to need surgery to remove it before she can get any better. Her [...]

“Charlotte’s Story” The worst set of plantar warts I’ve ever seen. Video is first of a series (about 20 parts). It’s from a British TV show called “Embarrassing Bodies.” Educational AND gross. i hate animal ones. they suffer terribly and why does it have to get so bad before anyone does anything for them?
the poor things are jammed together on feedlots, pumped full of drugs and yet, still this happens.
if we are going to use these creatures for food, then we should take care of them in the most humane fashion possible. allow them to live comfortably at least.
plus who wants to eat meat or drink milk from a cow that is this infected?
chrisa, that’s why it’s so important to eat free range. the conditions are horrible that these cattle are kept in. we raised cattle when i was a child and all were free range. it seems like it’d be more work if they are kept in the more horrid conditions. just let them out to pasture. i agree though, i feel so bad for the animals and i hate that the hands let it get this bad before doing something. that’s a choice cut right there and i’d hate to think i’d had osobuco from this cow….
Bet that cow felt better.
Totally agree ewe….I’m a meat eater but know how much better free range is for the animals and for us if we choose to eat it! BTW free range brown eggs are no better than free range white eggs…just a different chicken…i thought people would like to know that…
It’s a proven fact that all cow’s milk contains trace amounts of blood and pus! Mmmm… NUMMMERS!
After seeing that, all I can say is, “thank God for Louis Pasteur”

Under pressure – but compared to the video viewed before – that pus looks like nothing.
