If it was terribly infected, there may be more boils yet! Be thankful the infection has localized and does not remain cellular (cellulitis) That means the limb is on the mend! Stay clean if you pick @ them and remain under Dr’s care until its gone.. Remember finish your atbs!!!! Good luck

  • but… where is my squeeze?! that was like foreplay!! without anything fun to follow!! damnit…

btw, everyone keeps saying that these things have nothing to do with tattoos.. but.. it has to be something with bad hygiene while doing them? no? i mean, it CAN’T be a coincidence that so many of these infections are around tattoos, right?

i’m asking cos i simply don’t know! i have no idea! got 9 tats myself and have never even heard of anything like this irl..

Swedish, It would be impossible to create a pattern with tats and infection on a website, god knows where in the world when and by whom they were all done on different people. Does seem like alot show up in tats but I believe it is coincidence. I have had an ingrown hair in my tat.

  • I have 3 tattoos but nothing like that has ever happened to me. That tattoo looked like it was fully healed anyway.

I have had celllulitis on my thigh and my arm but all that happened was my skin turned almost neon red and had streaks coming from it. It hurt a lot, and I had a big knot in my elbow that looked so bad they thought it was a blood clot. There was no drainage, no chunks of skin that had to be pulled out, nothing at all like that. Both cases went away after taking regular, oral antibiotics.

My tattoos are not anywhere near where the cellulitis was and this is several years after I got them. My doctor thinks I had my most recent bout from my skin being irritated by Graston in physical therapy.

When I was looking up cellulitis after I got diagnosed, it said tattoos can cause them sometimes but I’d have to agree that you would need really bad hygeine for that to happen.
